Twitter TV show on the horizon?

Twitter_logo_290 Is the world ready for a Twitter TV show?

The Web site that allows people to put their lives in text is collaborating with Reveille Productions (the company behind "The Office" and "Ugly Betty") and Brillstein Entertainment Partners to develop an unscripted series.

Few details are available for the project, but show producers announced Monday (May 25) it would harness the site to put players on the trail of celebrities in an interactive, competitive format.

Noah Oppenheim, head of unscripted development for Reveille, told the Associated Press once a network deal is signed, "we're ready to go in production."

But let's be honest? Wasn't this inevitable what with Ashton and Oprah on board with Twitter and all?

Do you think such a show would have real legs to become a success?

Ugh, this Twitter fad (yes I think it's just a fad and won't last much longer) is annoying. I think this show will fail and I doubt I will watch it.

I just got to spread this news on my Twitter account. Ah just kidding, I care little for Twitter.

I love twitter but this is a bit much

There is already a Twitter TV Network The first internet TV Network. http://twittertvlive.com
it's like CNN meets SNL It's very funny and makes more since than this new thing that has just been put of there.

Since Twitter limits tweets to 140 characters (or 125 in tweetchat), it's hard to imagine how it could sustain a television show . . .

Wow This is stupid

show idea got squashed after the Kutcher/Moores staged a protest, also a lot of people on the site hated the idea. But the founders say this isn't the end of twitter expansion: http://www.newsy.com/videos/twee_vee_twitter_gets_down_to_business

WORST. IDEA. EVER!
