VIDEO: 'Fame' trailer
Naturi Naughton and several other young stars will be thinking they can live forever. As in "Fame! I'm gonna live forever...I'm gonna learn how to fly!"
That's right. The next generation of wannabe stars will be singing and dancing in the latest rendition of the '80s flim "Fame."
The flick will be released on Sept. 25. But you can catch a glimpse of the New York's High School of Performing Arts students, staff, and behind-the-scenes shots now.
And just in case you're not familiar with the film, it's all about aspiring singers, dancers, actors, and creatives who get the chance to hone their skills over four years in hopes that success will come on a worldwide stage.
Do you think this film will live up to the success of the original?

Just viewed the new trailer for the remake of Fame. My Opinion is that the music and vocals pail to the origionals of Irene Cara and this may be a case where they should have not tried to remake but maybe just called it Fame The New Generation with all new songs and material. The Original was perfect and well done except the finale dance. So maybe the can improve that.
isnt kherrington or however you spell her name from sytycd going to be in this?
No way it can live up to the original when we watch people live "fame" every day on reality shows.
