VIDEO: Emma Caulfield talks 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' reunion

Emmacaulfield_290 Emma Caulfield may be moving on from her "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" roots, but that doesn't mean the former Anya doesn't think about her old sci-fi friends. In fact, during a WPIX interview about Caulfield's latest film "Timer," she reveals that a Buffy reunion film is an idea that has been "circling."

Caulfield goes on to say she keeps in touch with her "Buffy" co-stars and even though her character died in the TV series, "anything is possible" given the fantasy genre of the show. After all, if Buffy can come back from the other side, why can't Anya? But see the interview for yourself and make up your own mind...

What do you think? Is a "Buffy" film wishful thinking or a hopeful possibility?

hmmm....hopeful possibility!!!

Um, yeah, that would be "Anya Jenkins." Not Emerson.

It would be nice, not like Sarah Geller's career is on fire. Of course she was killed in the finale, so don't know how she would come back. ( well it is Buffy).

Go easy, Melissa. In the first episode she was in, "The Wish", in the 2nd season, she went by the name Anya Emerson. Later, in season 5, the name was changed formally to Anya Christina Emanuella Jenkins.

Sorry for being nitpicky, Schoolhard, but the Wish was in Season 3.

settle down people. I'd pay money to see the movie.

wow, hardcore buffy fans on here. i just call her by her first name, Anya.

To be precise, her name was Anyanka (well, her demon name...) I hope there is some Buffy movie in the future. As one poster said, SMG's movie career hasn't done much.

I just discovered Buffy in the last year, so I'd love to see a new Buffy movie based on the series! At 52, BtVS is my favorite TV show of all time; not monetizing the series seems like an incredible waste of valuable content. How much has the Star Trek franchise made? And yet, Buffy is left fallow. It amkes no sense, but I understand that's par for the course for the industry.

I would PAY like 1000000 dollars to see a Buffy movie. I want more Buffy!! :( MORE BUFFY PLEAAAAAASE!!
