VIDEO (and lots of it): 'Chuck' finale preview
I don't have any advance knowledge of what happens in Monday's season finale of "Chuck" beyond what's in the video clips below, I don't know the context and I'm not even sure they're in the correct order chronologically. But I sure am excited.
Spoilers (but not what I'd consider huge ones) below, in both the text and the video.
Previews for the episode have already revealed that the finale revolves around Ellie's (Sarah Lancaster) wedding to Awesome (Ryan McPartlin), and that Ted Roark (guest star Chevy Chase) is lying in wait with bad intentions. So let's get that clip out of the way first; it's basically an extended version of the scene NBC has been teasing in its promos for the show.
But there's a lot more. For starters, Chuck (Zachary Levi) finally gets up the nerve to leave his Buy More job. While I don't like to think about the idea that this could mean seeing less of Lester, Jeff and Big Mike in the future, the scene -- in which Emmett doesn't quite get what Chuck is trying to tell him -- is a funny one.
In the next clip, Chuck talks to his sister just before her wedding. In addition to showing off a very elegant wedding dress (albeit one that Ellie apparently isn't too thrilled at wearing), it also showcases the great emotional beats the show's cast can play, which is one of the things that makes "Chuck" so much more than just a fun action-comedy.
Finally, a little bromance. Or at any rate, Chuck trying to express how much he appreciates what Casey (Adam Baldwin) has done for him, and Casey just being Casey.
So, do these clips make you as excited for the finale as we are?

If by chance NBC does not renew Chuck for another season (They'd be so wrong if they didn't), at least it looks like they will end the show in a good place.
Come on NBC! Renew this great show for at least another season. It deserves it.
it kills me that shows like this can get cancelled so easily while shows like, "According to Jim" stayed on the air much longer then it should have..
These clips show just what a great show this is. It seems so much like a series ending episode, but I'm sure there will be something at the end to boost it into the third season it deserves and which NBC will be smart enough to order.
CHUCK NEEDS TO BE BACK NEXT SEASON !!!!!!!!!!
or there will be no reason to watch NBC at all...
looks awesome

My thinking is as far as production cost, Chuck isn't as expensive to produce than say Heroes. I read somewhere that Heroes cost about 4 mil an episode - that's probably with all the special effects.
I so want this show to make it to a season 3. (as long as everybody has their man parts. :-D )
I look forward to this show far more than Heroes, and hope it sticks around, although knowing the hacks running NBC, it will be canceled. As someone above said, they seem to be getting it to a place that wraps things up, but with maybe a few little seeds in case they get picked up again. My fingers are crossed that it gets renewed.
