'The Hills' will indeed stay alive sans Lauren
I guess "The Hills"' producers didn't see my brilliant essay on why the show should end on a high note this spring with Heidi and Spencer's wedding.
MTV officially announced today that the reality series will continue this fall, despite Lauren Conrad's decision to leave it behind. The future storylines will likely focus on newly-married couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
Perhaps we'll get to watch their divorce play out on camera too!

But so is Spencer!
Anyway, at Paley Fest last week, E.P. Liz Gateley did say she hopes that, if the show went forward, Lauren would miss it so much, she'd decide to return.
Lauren responded by looking at the ground and sighing like the weight of the world was on her shoulders.
But, word is, L.C.'s "Laguna Beach" nemesis Kristin Cavallari will willingly step in in her absence. So stay tuned for that.
Though I did argue that the show should end sooner than later, now that I know it'll go on, I'm sure I'll be watching it week after week. Loyally. For as long as it runs. I mean, who am I kidding?

the show was made for LAUREN!! its too made up these days, so i hardly watch it as it is. too fake.
if kristen doesn't come on the show, i will definitely not watch speidi. audrina is supposed to get her own show so she should just move on already.
as i said before, i will probably not watch it, the drama is too fake and too far fetched. come on, everyone knows by now that audrina would never get with a guy who has a girlfriend, its not who her character is, so her hooking up with brody, never believed it for a second! FAKE! besides, where were the camera crew when she was sneaking out of his room late at night?? exactly!! cuz she never did!!!

The show should end when Lauren leaves. Besides isn't Audrina following in the steps of Whitney and getting her own show which will probably be just as boring as Whit's. I won't watch the Spedi show and most definitely won't watch Kristen who is no longer even relevant. Just let it go MTV, you've had a good run.
