Susan Boyle may be getting a new look, despite claims to the contrary.
"We will be making [Susan] over on the show," a rep for "Britain's Got Talent," the show that discovered Boyle, 47, tells In Touch.
Earlier, "Talent" judge Amanda Holden had been vocally opposed to the possibility of Boyle getting a makeover, saying "I won't let Simon Cowell take her to his dentist and I certainly won't let her near his hairdresser."
The Scottish singing phenom stunned judges, the audience and YouTube viewers worldwide when her frumpy appearance belied her surprisingly accomplished performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables.
Fans of Boyle want to keep her original look intact.

why not? week to week, they "make over" all contestants to some degree, so why not her?
you mean, keep her ugly? well, you have to do what you have to win money.

shame the world thinks one has to conform to some magazine concept of beauty to be beautiful. she's beautiful as she is, leave her looks alone.
Deliberately refusing to make her over would simply make BGT even more of a freak show than it already is. It's a shame that people that aren't blessed with the same looks we see purveyed every day on our TV screens are seen as some type of novelty act, just like those circus sideshows of yore.
Susan Boyle can flat out sing, and there's no reason to stop her from doing what any self-respecting artist would do to smarten up their image just so the unwashed m***es can continued to be astounded by the fact that an ugly person can sing. (I only use the word "ugly" because that's the public perception the show has been using to hype her up.)
Why ask us what we want??? The real question is : What does SHE want!!!

Whoa, whoa... She's NOT ugly, by any means - just frumpy - probably because she's an old spinster - reminds me of Agatha Christie's characters. But, frumpy or getting a makeover, won't deter her Voice... She's a Phenomenon to say the least. Hope we'll get to see the follow-ups on her performances on BGT - and hope she WINS...!!! And makes zillions of money - Look what happened to AGT's last year's winner TERRY FATOR - he got a $100-million deal at the Las Vegas MIRAGE... Am gonna see his show this summer - yippeeee...
Forgot to mention - Love hos Simon Cowell raised his eyebrows when she opened her mouth. And how Amanda's jaw dropped... PRICELESS...!!!!! And Pierce hit the nail on the head when he said that everyone, judges and audience alike, thought she was a joke, and had expected a comic flop - well...NOBODY is laughing now... I had to stop what I was doing when she came on the News, of all places, and opened her mouth and SANG... WOW...
OK, last time - only coz can't get over her SURPRISE Sound - I could just see the $$$ signs in Simon's eyes - or. in this case the £££ - like in the Las Vegas casinos when there's a HIT...
