Michael Douglas facelift rumors sparked by bloody photos
Speculation that Michael Douglas has had a facelift have been revived after pictures taken some years ago have started to circulate on the Internet.
The photos, which were reportedly taken in 2005, show the Oscar winner in profile from both sides leaving a restaurant. While the skin near his left ear is bandaged, the area around his right ear is still bloody and scarred.

Representatives for Douglas could not be reached for comment in light of the Good Friday holiday.
Recent photos showing some scarring around Douglas' ears are probably what prompted the older pics to resurface. The sudden interest in whether or not the actor has had plastic surgery is puzzling, but perhaps the double standard is at play here.
Women in the entertainment industry are almost expected to retain their looks through any means necessary, including going under the knife, whereas men are expected to become more distinguished as they age, like Sean Connery.
Yeah right, just tell that to Mickey Rourke.
At 64-years-old, Douglas is 25 years senior to his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, 39. They have two children together.
Douglas' next film is the Matthew McConaughey-Jennifer Garner comedy "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," which opens nationwide on Friday, May 1.
What we really want to know is, who really cares?

NO One, he is definitely OFF the radar
Seriously? Not only is this story 4 years old, but interest in anything Douglas has done is about 10 years old. Brilliant actor, producer, and lothario but come on, even Warren Beatty's time in the spot light ended.
slow news day?
The double standard is that it wasn't a huge story when the photos came out. Women get laughed at for plastic surgery, weight and any number of other things that women escape. Yo, Michael! Marry someone your own age in your next life and save yourself the trouble.
Well, geez, he's looked about 80 for a decade...so if he can pull up that flabby face, I say "go for it."
Ew! He definitely shouldn't go out like that. It's OK that he got plastic surgery, pretty much everyone in Hollywood does it. He just should've stayed home.
Man, if his FACE looks that bad, imagine what that saggy BUTT must look like. Shudder.
So what if he has? Wouldn't you if you were his age, had his money, and were in that same line of work? Seriously, who cares?
It's a slow news day, and that's just gross!
I still love Douglas in the film "The Game" (1997). Along with "Traffic" (2000), it's probably his last two truly great performances. I don't he's done anything since then that comes even close.
