Meet your new Miss USA, Kristen Dalton
Kristen Dalton, a 22-year-old from Wilmington, N.C., was crowned 2009 Miss USA on Sunday night.
Dalton beat out Miss California USA Carrie Prejean for the title. Alicia-Monique Blanco, representing Arizona, was the second runner-up.
The contestants from all 50 states and the District of Columbia were judged based on evening-wear and swimsuit modeling and their response to an interview question. Dalton was asked whether she thinks taxpayer money should be used to bail out struggling companies; she said no, preferring that the money go to things like education and health care.
Dalton will go on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant, which will take place the Bahamas in August.

Total sham. Spiteful judges and organizers penalized Miss California because she wouldn't spout their gay agenda. Perez Hilton is an idiot. Miss California was the true winner in this contest, and in general, and I commend her. Miss Dalton should resign the title to force the evil pageant officials to crown Miss Prejean.

YO, are you Ms. California's pimp?? What are you stupid?? Miss USA is an honorable title given to women with cl***. If this was Miss Bimbo, she would've won easily. You dont respond to a question on something very sensitive these past few years with "IN MY COUNTRY". The president doesn't even use the term "IN MY COUNTRY". That award was in the bag. Perez threw her a free-bee. "I really have no personal opinion on gay marriages because I respect everyone." That would've wrapped it up. But she wants to be arrogant and narcissistic as if she was running for dictator, she got what she had coming. "IN MY COUNTRY"?? So she run sh*t cuz she got a bod?? Is this a racial thing?? If a black woman said "in my country" would you all be acting like fools calling her the real winner? Pathetic.
