'Jon & Kate Plus 8': Jon 'never cheated'
You can put the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" divorce rumors to rest.
"I am not perfect. This struggle has definitely put some tension in our marriage," admits Jon Gosselin in an interview with Ladies' Home Journal. But I never cheated on Kate. Kate and I are together."
Of course, these comments are coming after Jon was photographed having a night out on the town partying and playing beer pong with some college girls, whom he insists are just fans.
These tensions were felt in the show's fourth season finale, during which Jon observed, "I can't just be Jon; I have to be 'Jon & Kate Plus 8,' which is a really hard thing for me. I'm still coming to grips with that."
Despite those pressures, TLC announced at its upfronts that "Jon & Kate Plus 8" will return for a fifth season.
Other highlights from the Ladies' Home Journal interview:
Kate on her fame: "I'm just a mom who's doing her best -- not unlike moms every where. I just happen to have a few more kids than the average."
Jon's life now: "I spend my whole life counting to eight."
Kate on handling the stress: "Pressure is my middle name."
Jon on his relationship with his wife: "Kate and I have maybe 10 minutes together while we're cleaning up the kitchen, but otherwise it's the kids and the show and meetings and, well, see you next Christmas, Kate."

4.6 million people watched the finale. That's more than some network TV shows. I guess on the jealous people think it sucks.
Funny how before they said they had plenty of evening time together. now he says they only have 10 minutes at most. Maybe if they dropped the "show" they could have a regular 9-5 job and have time for each other and most of all their children.
What gets me is that they hire a helper. Not to help clean up or do things around the house, but to play with their kids. I would think the helper would do the chores and that would leave time for the parents to be parents to the kids. Isn't that what TLC said the show affords them now...to be stay at home parents? Well they aren't staying home now. At least Kate isn't at least. She is on the road/plane each week.

no...actually some ppl just don't like this show! i think it's possible to not like a show with 8 kids running around and an annoying woman and a husband who needs to grow a pair. the show is sickening and gross. seeing clips on The Soup is the only good thing about it!!
Kara, that's the same thing I thought when I read about him saying they barely have 10 minutes together. Before they were saying they spend their evening together. Though, I have to disagree about the caretaker. If I had 8 kids, and could afford help, I would have a helper, even if I was a stay at home mom.
No doubt that there marriage is definitely strained. I don't think they will divorce; it would be just too difficult. And I do believe him when he says he didn't cheat on her. But I think that is he wondering where his life went. But still, what is he doing hanging around a bunch of college girls with 8 kids and a wife back home? Even, if your youth was wasted changing diapers, you can't change the past, so he needs to grow up a bit. Though he is such a nice guy it seems. Kate is a good mom, but she needs to stop treating her husband like he's one of the kids.
I think they should be going to couples counseling if they aren't already. If they can't find time to love and be with each other, then they both will be very unhappy.
Personally, I really like the show. I've been watching it a while now and all the kids are so cute. That being said, why did their doctor plant so many eggs in Kate? He/She sounds very irresponsible. Although all the kids are so cute, everytime I watch the show, I thank God that I don't have kids and plan to never have kids. I'll take cats/dogs over kids any day of the week. P.S. Why didn't they go down to a shelter and save a dog's life by adopting a dog/dogs. I thought it was very selfish and stupid that they went to a breeder and just gave a breeder more money to line his greedy pockets. They could have saved two dogs at a shelter from being put down. That was very troubling to me.
watching this family brings a smile to my face. Don't know how they manage eight!

I think they did the right thing coming back for a 5th season they said they don't have time for making memories of the kids at least this way they will. As for there marriage I think they will work it out and I really believe Jon would never cheat on Kate look what they have created together it would be plain stupid to mess that up.
