Jamie Foxx: Miley Cyrus, 'I apologize for what I said'

Jamie Foxx is eating crow after an ill-advised rant against Miley Cyrus over the weekend.

The "Ray" Oscar winner appeared on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" Tuesday night to apologize for telling the "Hannah Montana" star to make a sex tape, do drugs and catch a venereal disease, among other unsavory things.

"I so apologize to her. And this is sincere," says Foxx. "I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don't mean any of it. And sometimes as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far."

Foxx, 41, also notes that he said the offensive comments on his radio show The Foxxhole, which he likens to a "black Howard Stern."

I think it is more than enough. Like he said, he is a comedian and he came foward and apoligized, I have seen numerous youtube videos making fun of miley cyrus and come on she is an easy target. We should all know he was not serious

No its not enough. He need to make real changes to his routine so that children are not part of it. It wasn't just a slip of the tongue but he actually put some thought into that sick commentary.

Za, you might as well dream of marshmallow clouds. Don't like the comedy, don't listen to it. There are easy targets in the entertainment industry and she's no exception. Foxx just has to realize that he has a teen daughter and needs to think next time. His apology is enough. Mostly he needs to apologize to Cyrus herself.

He deserves an Oscar for the acting job he did on that so called apology. He blamed it on the fact that he is a comedian. He apologized as a comedian, not a person. He also lied. He said the the audio was only part of it. The audio was all of it. He turned the whole apology into a joke. Everyone should reject it because it was insincere dribble.

Please !!! Ever seen his stand up? He is aloud to joke about white people too, but if a white makes black jokes, he is racist! This guy say's what ever he wants and its OK !! If this was a white talking about about a black girl,this would be ALL over the news. Black Comedians are aloud to say what ever they want !!! Sorry this turned into a Black and white thing but its reverse discrimination..

he should NOT have even apologized. she brought it on herself.

she lost ALL credibility when she said she was going to RUIN radiohead because they didnt want to hang out with her. WTF is that... thats a spoiled little biznatch and nothing else who deserves everything she gets.
