'Grey's Anatomy' ghost Denny Duquette returns to Seattle Grace
Remember a few years ago when "Grey's Anatomy" killed Denny off and you cried and cried, How could Shonda Rhimes do this?!
Well, she clearly had crazy remorse over the decision. Not only did we get Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Denny Duquette back last fall (in the form of Izzie hallucinations, a symptom of her brain tumor), but he will return once again, most likely next Thursday for "Grey"'s 100th episode. The photo below? Evidence.
"GA" creator Rhimes spoke with USA Today, confirming the news and adding a warning: "Just a reminder, he's not a ghost and we should all remember what his appearance means."
Yeah, that the chemo ain't helping Izzie.

I agree P. That was my first reaction. Plus, where is Arizona? I thought she'd been made a series regular now...?
Apparently T.R. had the day off. McSteams prob did too. Or maybe he had a bad burrito, Knope style.
I think the actors playing Sloan and George were presenting an east coast award show that day.

I love Denny. And I absolutely loved how they made him walk into the white light in Mer's death dream while Unkle Bob's "Swans" was playing and he and Izzie had just "felt" each other. When things are going wrong in my world, I play that scene. I am like Bridget Jones in the first movie, except I don't play "All by Myself", I play that episode. And I didn't even mind ghost Denny this season because it meant more Denny and darn, is he fiiiinnnnnee. The only quibble I had is that it made Mer's death dream ending kinda a moot point. But, in short, more Denny ain't a bad thing.
The blonde is a member of the crew (I think either a writer or a producer, but I'm not positive), TR had the day off and Eric Dane had the flu. (This pic was published some place else a while back with a Shonda interview where she addressed those questions.)
MESSAGE TO GREYS: Give up the ghost! Every time Sweeps or a Finale rolls around, you drag out Denny. Should've seen his value early on and not killed him, but then again you did JDM a favor and he went on to bigger & better things.
MESSAGE TO JDM: Get your *** back over to Supernatural... at least over there we expect to see ghosts!
ENOUGH of Denny !!!! If Izzie dies or lives we have had it w/his character--bad move---I am a HUGE fan of Grey's but Shonda REALLY just about destroyed Grey's the 1st half of the season w/ Denny....saw videos w/ Denny coming "to get Izzie" day of Mer/Der wedding and thought OH NO--No MORE OF Denny---hope he does not say a word and it's just a flash of him on screen------Shonda is her own worst enemy!!!!!!!!!
