Farrah Fawcett hospitalized in Los Angeles

Farrah_240 Farrah Fawcett, who has been battling cancer for nearly three years, has been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital.

The former "Charlie's Angeles" star was hospitalized Thursday, April 2 after returning from Germany, RadarOnline first reported.

The 62-year-old was in Frankfurt to undergo an experimental stem cell therapy treatment. She had her treatment to be filmed for a possible upcoming TV documentary, "A Wing and a Prayer."

Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in September 2006 and began undergoing treatment, including chemotherapy and surgery. Shortly afterward, she announced that she was cancer-free, but in May 2007, a malignant polyp was found.

THIS IS SO SAD..ONLY 62..SHE QUITE A FIGHTER, I SEE. I LOVED HER IN "BURNING BED"..1ST TIME I COULD WATCH A PROGRAM ABOUT BATTERING WITHOUT BEING SICK..HAVE BEEN THERE/DONE THAT..

SO, PRAYERS OUT TO YOU FARAH, & YOUR FAMILY. KEEP THE FAITH.

one of the prettiest ladies ever, best wishes to you always Farrah you're in my prayers.

Prayers for Farrah. For someone who was originally considered "eye candy", she has turned out to be one heck of a good actress.

She'll always be that beautiful woman in the red bathing suit on the 70s poster. I don't know a man who didn't drool over her (including my husband).

I hope she finds peace from pain and fear.

god please bless and keep her and her family....

Farrah you and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers. The world is not ready to say goodbye to you.

Take care

From being green with envy at Farah's blondeness in the late 70's...am now gray-haired with angst at seeing an icon wither in the media. Forever should she remain the poster that we former browned-haired l***ies pursed our lips in jealousy.

That's gotta hurt in that area. Do we have an update to this story yet?

i just watch the farrah special last nite..it was very touching..she is very courages and has a strong will to live...we could all learn a little something from this awfull desease by watching this so***entary. it was really what cancer is... i wish her well and hopes sh hasd peace, i will pray for her

Farrah: May you rest softly

My sincere condolances to

Ryan and Redmond and all her

close loved ones.
