Dog_duane_240 Dog the Bounty Hunter has been bitten back by one of his targets.

Duane "Dog" Chapman and fellow bounty hunter Bobby Brown were trying to apprehend a murder suspect in Colorado Springs, Colorado Tuesday when the man allegedly fired on them with a handgun before making a getaway on a motorcycle, reports RadarOnline.com.

At the time, the bounty hunters could only return fire on the man, Hoang Nguyen, with paintball guns.

Nguyen was later collared by Chapman on Wednesday morning at a nearby Toys R Us and was booked for attempted homicide based on witness accounts from the scene, although no gun, bullet holes or shell casings have been found. Neither of the bounty hunters were hurt.

Nguyen was being sought on charges of attempted second-degree murder, domestic violence and gun charges.

Although the "Dog the Bounty Hunter" crew was present at the initial shooting, they did not capture the action on film.

It is only a matter of time before 'Dog' runs into someone that will take him down. I often laugh how he rarely goes after truly dangerous criminals. Plus this whole things sounds like a media attention grab - no gun, no bullet holes, no shell casings - hmmmm

That's exactly right, he doesn't need bulletproof vests as long as he is chasing scared small time crooks & hiding behind his wife's enormous boobs.

I agree the Dauwg's a ***** and only goes after safer criminals. I think the whole idea of a bounty hunter in this country should be illegal. Its bad enough we are losing our rights to the actual establishment but to the average undeputized "bounty hunter" leaves too much room for trouble.

Ha!

When's the last time the 3 of U were shot at?

Gimmee a break the guy TRAVELS with a camera crew...he's more a Bussiness than a bounty hunter...why WOULD he risk being killed?

LOL, too bad he missed. That beat-up, dandified, overdressed boozehound could stand a few weeks in a hospital to dry him out.

What kind of idiot goes after a murder suspect with a paintball gun.

He is chasing people who signed an agreement for bail, then skipped bail! He does not look over a list of "easy to catch" criminals, you just pull up a skip report and see who is on there, all small time paper p***ers, and other losers. Bounty hunting is a business, and there is no reason to tie up police officers to chase them down, when Dog and his team have vested financial interest to catch the skips, so they do not lose the bail money.

They should leave the job to law enforcement, they are train and they know what to do.

Dog is a bounty hunter who, as Mike explains, is a person who goes after people who skip bail. I enjoy the show.
