VIDEO: 'Chuck' finds his dad -- and Chevy Chase
I almost feel bad posting these two clips for "Chuck" now, because the show doesn't air until Monday and having watched them, I kind of want skip ahead about 72 hours so I can see the rest of the episode.
But since that's not going to happen, we'll just have to make do with what we've got here. From the looks of things, we're in for some pretty good stuff in Monday's episode, "Chuck vs. the Dream Job," which will introduce us to both Chuck's father (Scott Bakula) and Ted Roark (Chevy Chase), the Steve Jobs-like head of a computer company where Chuck gets a job.
Zachary Levi isn't always called upon to play emotional moments in the show, but he's pretty darn good at them, as with this first clip, when Chuck and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) track down Chuck's dad, who bailed on him and Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) years ago. Take a look:
The second introduces Chuck to Ted Roark, a genius with a Hawaiian shirt and, apparently, a cadre of minions who follow him wherever he goes.
Co-creator Josh Schwartz has said that Chase's and Bakula's characters have a history -- the elder Bartowski blames Roark for ruining his life, in fact, and making him the shell of the man he is when we meet him.
So, yeah -- these 72 hours can't pass fast enough.

PLEASE EVERYONE !!!!!! Start watching Chuck. Its the best, most fun show on NBC
Actually, Chuck is the best show on TV - period. This is one of the most cleverly written shows I've ever seen. The comedy is smart and spot-on and yet there's still some emotion and action in there. If you haven't seen it yet, you NEED to!
