Tyrabanks_americasnexttopmodel_s11_240 Hey, short girls, "America's Next Top Model" is giving you a second chance. Don't blow it this time.

The New York auditions for the reality show's 13th cycle is rescheduled for Saturday, April 11, after the March auditions ended in arrests, injuries and tears when a riot broke out. Apparently, one of the people in line yelled that a car was about to explode after spying smoke coming from a nearby car. Chaos predictably ensued.

The auditions were promptly canceled, leaving the women to bemoan their fate, lamenting that they would never get to stick it to the taller, leggier women who usually book modeling gigs, since the 13th cycle is the first (and likely last) time that "Top Model" is specifically looking for women 5'7" and under.

This will be the final open call for the next season of The CW reality show, which also also felt compelled to prominently post the audition rules and guidelines with the announcement, instead of just linking as usual.

In the rules, it appears there's lots of queuing etiquette (no cuts-ies), efforts at crowd control (no lining up overnight) and the like. None of these guidelines, however, seem particularly helpful in preventing another riot.

In the spirit of crowd safety and minimizing model mayhem, we offer these additional guidelines and tips:

1) The next time you hear a mini-skirted, stiletto-wearing woman offer a critical diagnosis of a car's condition (i.e. it's going to explode), please consider the source of such expert opinion.
2) Also, remember that cars exploding is not an everyday event and rarely occurs outside of Michael Bay films.
3) If, despite all common sense, you still insist that the car will explode, do not panic and run screaming. All good runway models should look just as good leaving as they do arriving.
4) No matter what, do not throw anyone under a bus. Hasn't reality TV taught you anything?
5) If all else fails and you get hauled in by the boys in blue and have to pose for your mugshot, remember Tyra's advice: Smile with your eyes.
