ABC renews 'Brothers & Sisters,' 'DWTS,' 'Desperate,' 'Ugly Betty,' 'Grey's' & more
Though their full fall schedule won't be announced until next month's Upfronts in New York, ABC has given several of its series the early green light for another season.
"America's
Funniest Home Videos," "The Bachelor," "Brothers & Sisters,"
"Dancing with the Stars," "Desperate Housewives," "Extreme
Makeover: Home Edition," "Grey's Anatomy," "Private
Practice," "Supernanny," "Ugly Betty" and "Wife Swap" will definitely return to entertain you later this year. "Lost" was included in today's renewal announcement as well, even though the network ensured its sixth (and final) season was a lock last year.
All pretty solid performers, none of these shows were really in any danger of dismissal. "Ugly Betty"'s current hiatus did spark cancelation rumors a couple months back, but as I assured you, it was never going anywhere.
So, any thoughts? Questions? Concerns? Happy to hear a few of your favorites are for sure safe?

Very happy to hear Brothers & Sisters and Grey's is back (didn't really have any doubt that they would be). Desperate Housewives is getting stale for me, but I'm happy about it coming back too. I recently stopped watching Ugly Betty.
CASTLE!
CASTLE!
CASTLE!
Where's Castle! We need Castle!
I was thinking the same thing Ryan.
Samantha Who? *Pleas* don't let it be cancelled!
I'm hoping Castle is picked up. I'm hopelessly addicted to it.
Jen M., to late. it's already been announced that Samantha Who? has been cancelled.
I really hope they pickup castle! It's a hundred times more intriguing than desperate housewives has been and much more entertaining than ugly betty. It deserves more seasons!
CASTLE!!! CASTLE!!!! The show definitely deserves a pick-up!
How about no more recap shows for Lost. They do that every single season. As soon as I saw it was a recap I quit watching right away. ABC screwed up by showing episodes of Lost and then taking it of the air for two monthes. When will thise guys get it that when you do that people find other things to watch. Why networks do that is beyond me. Thats basically what killed Jericho off.
Disappointed that Brothers and
Sisters was renewed. Great cast, but the Kevin storyline
and make-out scenes are way
too excessive for prime-time
t.v. I'm surprised Disney
sanctions this show. Stopped
watching a long time ago.
