TwitterVIDEO: 'Stargate Universe' Sneak Peek
It's once, twice, three times a "Stargate" with the October 2009 release of "Stargate Universe."
The SyFy series will follow a group of soldiers, scientists, and civilians who must fend for themselves as they are forced through a Stargate when their hidden base comes under attack. The survivors emerge aboard an ancient ship called Destiny, which is locked on an unknown course and unable to return to Earth. Faced with survival, the group must unlock the secrets of the ship's Stargate to live.
The two-part series premiere will be directed by "Stargate Atlantis" and "Stargate SG-1" alum Andy Mikita.
What do you think about the upcoming series? Are you excited about another "Stargate" series or are you just done with the entire premise?

I hear their crossing some Lost and BSG with this one. Could be awesome or it could be more of the same stagate we've had for what seems like ages now...I love SG but it definitly needs a facelift.
First thing that came to mind was Space 1999.
Yeah, Space 1999 and all the other Star Trek shows! I hope it's not always on the ship - that would be really boring!!
Still skeptical...sounds too much like a cross between Lost In Space/ST:Voyager and Stargate SG1/SGA.

Awesome! SciFi isn't the same without SG! I look forward to the new series.
This sounds like Star Trek Voyager. Let's hope it's a lot better than that.

Atlantis was canceled too soon - this network is becoming the next Fox - not giving shows a chance to find their audience.
SG1 and Atlantis where grate hope this one at least becomes as good as them or better
