VIDEO: 'Gossip Girl's' Chuck runs into Carter Baizen
"Gossip Girl" has returned, and so has Carter Baizen (Sebastian Stan).
The St. Jude's alum who got punched out by Nate (Chace Crawford) during the cotillion is back for Monday's (March 16) episode, titled "The Age of Dissonance." He'll stir up trouble when he spends time with Elle, the mysterious object of Chuck's (Ed Westwick) affection ... when he's not distracted by Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester).
Check out this "Gossip Girl" sneak peek in which Chuck and Carter cross paths:
In the episode, the seniors put on a production of Edith Wharton's "The Age of Innocence," in which their own lives mirror the conflicts of the elite 19th-century characters in the play. In particular, Serena (Blake Lively) starts crushing on the director, Julian (Harmon Walsh) and has to ask Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) for help to pretend to know more about the theater.
Meanwhile, Blair is at her best, seeking revenge after she learns of a bombshell that will affect her future. Finally, Dan (Penn Badgley) and former teacher Rachel (Laura Breckenridge) just can't resist each other's company even though their relationship has been revealed.
Excited for new episodes of "Gossip Girl"? How do you like Chuck's obsession with Elle? Did you also check out Sebastian Stan on Sunday's "Kings"?
