Tyson Beckford says Lindsay Lohan isn't model material
After one of Hollywood's wayward children -- Lindsay Lohan -- gave an interview with Nylon magazine recently about how she wants to make a move to modeling since this whole acting thing isn't working out too well these days, a real model is weighing in.
Lohan, 21, told Nylon that she really weants to get signed by the modeling agency IMG that who broke both Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.
"I love doing photo shoots," she says. "I mean, if I could just sign with IMG and do ad campaigns and model more, I'd do that ... because that's fun for me. That's not work."
Not so, according to male model -- and "Make Me a Supermodel" host/judge -- Tyson Beckford.
"She has the partying part down right. But I don't think she's got the focus. I mean, it requires a lot of focus and a lot of people think they can do it, but they really find that it's a lot harder," he tells usmagazine.com.
"Ask anyone -- it's a lot harder than it looks. I guess that's why they call us supermodels -- we make it look easy. But it's not as easy as it looks, so I wish her all the best."
Maybe Lohan should sign up for "Make Me a Supermodel" or "America's Next Top Model" to pick up some tips before embarking on her new career.

She's not pretty enough to be a model.
Lindsay should try to do a guest star appearance on Gossip Girl or 90210. If that goes well, we can talk about moving on to doing a multi-episode arc on NBC where only a few more people are watching. Then maybe, something on the big channels-Fox, ABC, and CBS. If all goes well there, a TV series, then some movies. Baby steps Lindsay-no one becomes a movie star overnight, especially if they spend their nights partying!
She was the first red-headed baby signed as a model by the Ford Modeling Agency at three years old. Not too shabby and one of the best in the biz. I actually think she is also a pretty good actress, just crappy choices lately in movie roles. And, choices in friends have not been too great either. Her mom is too busy trying to look like her twinkie! lol I just think that when these kids start working at such a young age, actually supporting all of their family members including both parents the lines just get smudged, too much. Kinda hard to say no to your child when they are paying all of the bills, the house note(s)at three years old isn't it? I got my first summer job at sixteen and my dad made me quit about two weeks later when band practice started. Told me, "school is your job".

She was a model as a child and she's been modeling for years- she was on a soap as a kid and she's done TONS of commercials-How quickly the fickle public forgets- they build them up then drop them on their ***'... so fuc**ing ungreatful for the good things that brought- the laughter the tears, the joy. Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, Mean Girls?? Ring a bell? Lindsay has had a number of well received films. A few BLOCK BUSTERS- she was voted for and has received a few awards and was considered one of young Hollywoods most talented. SHE STILL IS...perhaps a lil distracted these days but thats her business not ours. She'll get it together. The girl is beautiful and she can act. She's also a recording artist and she can even dance!!. Give her a break. She will end up surprising everyone. Back off and shut up-she's 22 let her grow up. Hopefully she will spend more time focused on getting HER life in order and take some time out for herself. She has an offer from Warren Beatty and I'm sure there are others who want to work with her and I'm sure she has other projects in the works or will one day in the not too distant future. Perhaps the timing is off and she just needs a time out and off the radar for a minute- while working with people on projects that she is p***ionate about. she's pretty enough, but she doesn't have the model spec's. but she can do celebrity endorsements. but i think not many companies would want her endorsement at this time (too worried about drugs ***ociation). especially in the US, we don't look kindly on that whole scene (celeb's lose endorsements for that as well as for smacking around their girlfriends).
