Jason Mesnick's controversial change of heart on The Bachelor has spelled phenomenal ratings success for ABC. So where do they go from there?
ABC has already chosen its next Bachelorette, Canadian interior designer Jillian Harris. Now the burden is on her sassy shoulders to continue The Bachelor franchise's streak of controversies that began with Brad Womack, who refused to pick either of his Final Two women, and ended with Mesnick, who was rejected by Womack's cast-off DeAnna Pappas.

Stephanie ??? Are you nuts? That girl puts me to sleep. Jillian, all the way ! She was a joy to watch with her bubbly character & awesome personality. What a fire-cracker. And...and...she's Canadian !! Canadians do it better !! Good Luck Jillian, show'em how it should really be done !!
I love Stephanie, but I'm not sure she would have made for good tv. I do hope that she finds love again though. She is one cl***y lady and I like how she stood up for Jason. She is a loyal friend.
What a garbage show on a garbage network!! What are you people watching this crap for?? You know there are quality television shows on during this time? You are probably the same people that watch that crap Dancing with Stars. Why??? Watch good TV people - i.e. 24, House (best show on tv), How I met your mother!!
David~People watch "the garbage show on a garbage network" because they LIKE it! Good for you that you like to watch House...some others might call it "a garbage show on a garbage network." Don't put others down because they don't share YOUR viewing habits.

I almost voted for Jillian actually getting *gasp* MARRIED, but that second option of the two finalists both turning her down and running away with each other was too delicious to p*** up.

Stephanie Hogan is a nice, sweet lady, but A) lots of plastic surgery and it's made her look physically like a man in drag and B) too earnest as some have said. it would be the Lawrence Welk version of 'The Bachelorette'.
Jillian Harris is beautiful, intelligent, interesting and funny and will make an IDEAL Bachelorette. It was a brilliant decision by Mike Fleiss and ABC to pick her - she maybe the one person right now that can bridge the gap of everyone turning on the show because of how they perceive what Jason did, and Jillian having an exciting but cl***y version of 'The Bachelorette' which allows them to save the franchise.
Furthermore, when Jill's show rolls around to start airing in mid May (and my wife also loved Jill the best so she and I are on board for this) I hope for ABC's sake that Molly & Jason are still together, happy and moving forward. Between that and a cl***y Jillian, that will help ABC rebound from (albeit great ratings) from this PR disaster.
