'Real Housewives of Atlanta' sweet on Kandi, sour on DeShawn
Kandi Burruss will infuse The Real Housewives of Atlanta with a little more sugar and spice.
The Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter who penned the TLC's hit "No Scrubs" is the latest housewife to expose her fabulous life, demanding career and parenting woes in Hotlanta. Burruss, who was once part of the platinum-selling musical group Xscape is a single mom and has also written music for Mariah Carey, Destiny's Child and Alicia Keys.
Already, we're expecting the biggest reaction from Kim Zolciak, the wannabe country singer who got dumped by Big Poppa at the end of last season. Of course, coming from two different musical genres, they probably won't be collaborating anytime soon, but who knows what kind of industry hook-ups Kim will try to finagle out of Kandi.
Sweet.
And as Essence reported in January, DeShawn Snow will not be returning this season because she was "too human for a circus show" (Translation: Too nice, not enough drama). So, I guess NeNe and Sheree have no fears of getting the boot anytime soon.

NeNe was the best and most honest. I'm sorry that DeShawn isn't comming back, she was the balance that was needed.
