Scottporter_paleyfest08_240 Scott Porter is getting out of Dillon, Texas, and going around the globe in search of art thieves.

Porter, who starred on NBC's "Friday Night Lights" as wheelchair-bound former quarterback Jason Street, has joined the cast of FOX's "Masterwork." The network has also signed former "Caveman" Nick Kroll and Nora Zehetner for its comedy "Cop House."

"Masterwork" stars Matt Passmore ("McLeod's Daughters") as an FBI agent who leads a team that tracks stolen works of art. Porter will play a fellow agent, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He joins a cast that also includes "Tudors" star Natalie Dormer and Tom Ellis.

"Cop House" is a comedy about the residents of a halfway house for troubled police officers. Kroll, who co-stars in "I Love You, Man" and does voice work on FOX's upcoming "Sit Down, Shut Up," will play an officer who's prone to delusions. Zehetner ("Heroes," "Everwood") will play the group's therapist.
