It's a sunny February day in Burbank, Calif., and cast members of CBS' Friday night crime dramas Numb3rs and Flashpoint have gathered at the Andrews International security training facility to get a feel for how their real-life counterparts train.

Alongside the actors, Zap2it's Hanh Nguyen also took part in training, including firing an MP5 semiautomatic machine gun and using the Firearms Training Simulator (FATS).

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

WOW - this is the FIRST time I've seen Anything on FLASHPOINT -- even if it's just a mere fleeting remark. I really, REALLY like this show - it has Heart. It shows cops that are human, and are NOT just the speed-ticket-pushers with NO personality. That said, oddly enough I like Most cop shows, eventhough also most of them seem to be the same, i.e. follow the same formula. That's why THIS show is so refreshing - it's different than the pack, and very personable to boot. I, for one, am so glad CBS brought it back - I watched it last summer, then - when it disappeared - I was afraid that it was cancelled. So, when it came back, I was soooo relieved. And the Nielsen ratings look like I'm not the only one who is a Fan...
