PICS: 'Alice in Wonderland' pictures leak online

Timburton_oscars06_240 Can't wait till 2010 for a glimpse of Tim Burton's highly anticipated "Alice in Wonderland"? Well, neither could some folks over in Italy.

Badtaste.it has gotten their hands on some early images for Burton's take on the Lewis Carroll classic.

Included is a photo of Alice (Mia Wasikowska) peering down the rabbit hole, an image of the Mad Hatter's tea party -- which will be presided over by Burton favorite Johnny Depp -- and a silhoutte of Alice approaching the door behind the curtain in the long hallway.

Take a look at the Alice in Wonderland pics.

"Wonderland" has been shooting in England and Los Angeles. Also cast are Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Crispin Glover and Stephen Fry.

What do you think? Does it look nice and disturbing as it should be? Was Burton the right person to adapt this classic again?

Tim Burton is perfect to to re make this movie and I for one can not wait until it comes out. Then again Tim Burton could re make the blair with project or Good luck Chuck and make it a masterpeice. I am looking foward to this movie

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is my favourite book of ALL TIME.

I can't wait for this. I'm on the edge of my seat!

it's nice to know tim burton will do the film,.

That Alice looks way too old.

Burton has a mixed track record to me. He has made good movies like Edward Scissorhands, but also crap like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

TJ for shame on calling "Nightmare" crap!

Is it just me or does that actress playing Alice look like Starbuck (Kara Thrace) from Battlestar Galatica?

I agree with Charlie and the chocolate factory being less than great but the Nightmare Before Christmas is a great movie... and hot topic markets the crap out of it

It's funny how everybody is just so keen on seeing even glimpses of the movie, or pictures of the set in advance. I know I am, and it's great to see where this film is headed. At least for now I'm happy with what I've seen, the teaparty pic is just awesome.
