Henry Rollins rides with 'Sons of Anarchy'
If ever there were an ideal match between series and actor, Henry Rollins and "Sons of Anarchy" might be it.
The actor and former Black Flag and Rollins Band singer will join the FX series about bikers next season. He's set to appear in six episodes as "a new antagonist" to the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club headed by Charlie Hunnam's character; the cable channel promises he will be a "deadly threat" to the club.
Rollins hosts a talk show on IFC and has carved out a decent career as an actor, with credits that include "Heat," "Lost Highway" and "Feast." And he seems like a natural fit for FX's show, which begins shooting its second season in late April.
In other casting news:
- The Hollywood Reporter says that Chevy Chase will star with Joel McHale in its comedy pilot community. Chase's casting comes after he did a guest-starring arc on "Chuck" (which will air in the coming weeks).
The pilot stars "The Soup" host McHale as a lawyer who discovers his degree isn't valid and has to go back to community college. Chase will play another student, a guy who's been married five times.
- Also from the HR, ABC has added people to several of its projects. Paul Campbell ("Knight Rider," "Battlestar Galactica") has joined the comedy pilot "No Heroics" as one of a group of not-very-super heroes. Mike Vogel ("Cloverfield") and Beau Garrett ("Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer") will star in the Romeo-and-Juliet drama "Empire State," and Matthew Lillard ("Scooby-Doo") and Janet Varney ("On the Lot") will play part of two couples in a comedy from writer Jeff Strauss.

It's going to be a great story arc on SOA, with not only Henry Rollins but Adam Arkin as neo-nazis invading Charming, Calif. Here's some exclusive pix from the storyline.

Great. Rollins portraying a biker with short man's syndrome. Wow...what a stretch...
Last night's episode was great! I hope everyone caught it. If you missed it you need to see it, the website I posted has the season 2 premiere already - and guess what? I already watched it again! Jax is my favorite... I can't wait to see what he does this season!
Ha, way to sell out, Rollins.
