Twitter'Dancing With the Stars': 'The Bachelor's' Melissa Rycroft may put on her dancing shoes
If you thought last week's media blitz was the last you'd heard about The Bachelor until the inevitable Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney break up story in roughly six month, you were wrong.ABC will announce who will replace injured celebrities Jewel and Nancy O'Dell tomorrow during the season premiere of Dancing With the Stars, but People magazine is reporting that none other than Melissa Rycroft will be taking over O'Dell's spot.
In case you missed it, Rycroft was the woman Mesnick first chose and proposed to in New Zealand, only to break things off with her on national television during the After the Finale Rose special so he could take another shot at runner-up Malaney.
Both Jewel and O'Dell were forced to drop out of the competition late last week due to leg injuries. Girl Next Door's Holly Madison has been long rumored to be taking Jewel's place, but Rycroft would be an 11th hour substitute.Still, sources say that she has been rehearsing for the last several days and is expected to perform live on Monday night's premiere.
