'Dancing With the Stars': Steve-O skips out on Monday's show

Professional Jackass Steve-O was unable to perform on the second "Dancing With the Stars" due to a back injury. No, not the one that happened last week while he was trying to master the salsa. A new one.
Host Tom Bergeron announced at the beginning of the show that Steve-O would not be performing. Later, Steve-O's dance partner, Lacey Schwimmer, said that two hours before the live show, the 34-year-old Steve-O was rehearsing when he fell on his microphone pack.
Steve-O was taken to the hospital. While it's been ascertained that nothing is broken, Schwimmer did say there was a great deal of swelling.
To recap, this season's "Dancing With the Stars" injuries include:
- Jewel -- fractured tibia in both legs; forced to drop out
- Nancy O'Dell -- torn meniscus in her knee; requires surgery, forced to drop out
- Gilles Marini -- tendonitis in the groin and shoulder; still dancing
- Steve Wozniak -- fractured foot; still dancing
During last week's premiere, Steve-O and Schwimmer performed a waltz, scoring a 17 from the judges. Check out his performance below:
Steve-O can do all the ridiculous stunts on 'Jack***' and walk away, but falling on a piece of plastic forces him to the hospital? Lame!
What a garbage show!! I cannot believe people watch this crap over House and 24. What are you thinking!!! ABC is a garbage network. Boycott ABC!!!
Why was he wearing a microphone pack while dancing? What purpose did that serve? The above questions really should be rhetorical because after all, why approach anything ABC does with logic. They canceled Eli Stone, Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies and Life on Mars.
I've got to agree with the comments about ABC. There's hardly anything I care to watch on it anymore.
The slow demise of good scripted series (including NBC's transfer of an hour of prime time to Jay Leno) really worries me.
Everyone needs to keep there opinons to themselves,steveo has an unbelievable amount of courage for going on the show in the first place,so anybody who is saying otherwise should go suck a nut ;)
