Breaking: CBS Rumored To Be Renewing 'Two and a Half Men' for 3 More, 'Big Bang' for 2
How does CBS feel about Chuck Lorre comedies? Really good apparently. Word is, the network has just picked up Two and a Half Men for three additional seasons, while The Big Bang Theory has been given the green light for another two. A nice vote of confidence, no?

I could care less about Two and a Half Men, but Big Bang Theory is one of my faves!
Glad to hear it's getting the recognition it deserves.
The Big Bang Theory is extremely annoying with it's loud canned laugh track playing after almost every single line of dialogue....even lines that aren't even remotely funny.
For that alone I stopped watching after 3 or 4 episodes.
Great for them...but, honestly, three more years of Two and Half Men...really??!!!
What about HIMYM?
I'm happy for both shows because (barring something unforeseen) it provides a guaranteed future income for their crews and staff .. and, of course, the actors.
Also, I agree that this is a great vote of confidence for BBT (considering it is still the younger show of the 2). Sets them up for a syndication deal too ...
Peanuts-- I've been in the audience for several tapings. For the record, there's nothing canned about it. Those people are truly laughing their ***es off. Whether it's deserved or not.

LOVE Big Bang...I can see tho that it only appeals to the enlightened few. It's SO funny. Hope it's true that they have a few more seasons to go.
3 years? 3 years? I agree about HIMYM needing some confidence also, and CHRISTINE! Both are more original and funny than 2 1/2. At least let know a full season order is safe for those two? I've never given BB a chance so I will not comment on that.
Love 2.5 men but I wonder what they'll have to write about for 3 more seasons. I'll certainly be sticking around to find out.
