Kim Kardashian kindles chimp kontroversy
Sex tape siren Kim Kardashian caused an uproar on her blog regarding some posted photos -- not racy ones of herself, but of a chimpanzee named Suzy.
Kardashian issued an apology on her blog regarding her post last week introducing her temporary pet chimpanzee Suzy. Unfortunately, the timing of the post seemed rather tacky since it was only a few days before that a Connecticut woman was mauled by a chimpanzee, whom police shot and killed in self-defense.
"Hey guys, so I wanted to explain my post about the Chimpanzee Suzy I posted last week," she writes. "I understand my timing was not appropriate and it was insensitive of me, so I want to explain. The pictures I posted are from six months ago when we were filming season three of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. I had held onto these pictures for months and preset them to run the month before my show was going to air, to give you guys exclusive glimpses into season three.
"My mom has been begging Kourtney, Khloe and I to settle down and have kids, so we thought it would be funny to rent a baby chimpanzee for a week and leave her with my mom! We don't still have Suzy, she was just rented for a week! You guys will see what happens this season with Suzy!
"What happened to the woman that was attacked by the chimpanzee was devastating! My mom and I saw it on the news and heard the 911 calls and we both cried! Our family is praying for everyone involved in that traumatizing attack. In no way did I mean to insult or offend anyone by posting these pictures."
According to Suzy's pictures on Kardashian's blog, the primate enjoys playing piano, messing with BlackBerrys and swinging from bedposts.
But not all the Kardashian craziness can be laid at Suzy's door. In the first episode back, younger sis Khloe is sent to the prison for not completing her required DUI classes.

yes what happened was sad but I dont see how her posting these pictures was wrong in any way.

I've never watched this show and don't plan to. The only thing that caught my attention was the mention of something wrong involving a chimpanzee. This woman definitely seems too self-absorbed to care for another living creature like a chimpanzee, even for a week. Any talent other than a sex tape? Probably not.
Whoever "rents" out chimpanzees or any other animals like this is a money-grubbing idiot.
