I think someone already broke this news months ago. At least that was my understanding entering this season that Prison Break would be ending this season.

I've always enjoyed the show, felt like this season was really good.
That being said, I think shows that are serialized should end. It is part of writing a show with that kind of story. You can't just go trapsing all over the world forever. There has to be a plan. Most of the shows I watch are serialized, and if any of them went past 6 or 7 seasons, I would probably stop watching.
I already quit watching House since it has lost the spark it used to have, IMO.
Prison Break is one of those shows you can't take too seriously, but it always manages to keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved it when Don Self switched sides.
I was hoping this would be the last season. This season should end with Michael taking down the company. And that should be the ending. I don't know what else there is to do after that.
James, I totally agree. It's one of those shows that whilst not condering myself being *totally* invested in, I know that watching it is gonna excite me, keep me interested, and keep me watching!
Korbi, thanks for breaking the news. It's sad because I think this season has been superb so far. The only saving grace is that they found out now instead of after the series ended. Hopefully the 2 extra hours ordered will provide us with concrete closure and end the show properly.

What a ride it's been. PB always had me on the edge of the couch with my mouth hanging open. Only Lost and PB have ever made me do that. I will definately be buying the entire series on DVD. Linc, Michael, Sarah and Alex, you will be sorely missed. But I'm glad it was was given proper notice so the writers can give us a proper ending.
I always loved this show , love the whole concept of it..love that hot girl with the black hair and deep blue eyes..omg I will miss her. The evil girl , I forget her name hehe. Great show and I am glad it stuck around for 4 seasons. Thats not easy to do on Fox.
