Is Dylan McKay Doing '90210' After All? Plus, Premiere Party Pics!

Lukeperry So last month, I reported exclusively that Kelly Taylor, our old 90210 pal, will have a 4-year-old kid in the show's spin off series, which debuts on The CW next Tuesday! -- I stand by the exclamation point, I can hardly contain my excitement -- And I also mentioned that said kid's father would likely be one of Kelly's past loves, Brandon or Dylan obvs. Well, a well-connected source now tells me that Dylan McKay is, in fact, Kelly's baby daddy, and though Luke Perry has publicly said he has no plans to appear on the series, the show's producers are currently toying with the idea of somehow writing Dylan into at least one of 90210's Fall episodes. Word is, the Big D disappeared for awhile -- in true Dylan McKay style -- but may want back into his little boy's life. Kel's too.

Now, according to the studio, Luke Perry is not doing the show, and again, Perry has publicly expressed a reluctance to reprise his role as Dylan. But my source is pretty reliable, so I have to put it out there. Any thoughts?

Though I'm thrilled with the prospect of Luke Perry joining the party, my heart would sing if he ended his guest arc by running off with Brenda. Kelly's comeuppance for stealing Dylan from Bren is long overdue. So there's a fictional kid involved, so what?!

Speaking of the Brenda-Kelly debate, click on the pics below to get a closer look at our two gals -- all grown up -- at Saturday's swanky 90210 premiere party in Malibu. I stalked Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth around the soiree all night and am happy to report they both looked hot... though no one looked better than Jennie's husband, Peter Facinelli. I mean, for the love of God, he's even sexier in person. I was not above staring (my apologies, I have no pics with him).

Anyhoo, come back to me at least once a day for the next week, as I'll have an exclusive interview with one of the 90210 newbies -- including Rebecca Donaldson -- each morning leading up to Tuesday's big September 2nd premiere...

Luke Perry seems to have the least amount of "90210" baggage of any of the guys, so I wouldn't be surprised if he did a couple of episodes. He did guest star on Jennie Garth's last show "What I Like About You," which totally capitalized on the Kelly/Dylan history, so obviously he's game for it.

YAY! That's totally awesome!

An LA friend of mine said she overheard something about this!

In the sides for episode 6 there is a scene with Kelly and DYLAN!

So he's back alright!

"Sideshow" Luke is the male version of Locklear. He is the draw. The back and forth on will he or won't he is simply for the agent's benefit. He cares about the show, is close w/ Garth, and reportedly patched things up w/ Shannen a while ago. Cut the man a check and let's light this candle. Otherwise 902point1 will be a 3 and out.

Shannon looks like she is boxoting - booo! She doesn't need it.

No Dylan needed on the spin-off. Luke needs to keep to his word of how he would not return without Aaron Spelling and not appear. I rather see a Kelly/Brandon reunion.

BRENDA AND DYLAN FOREVER!!!!

I was a Kelly and Dylan Fan. I was not going to watch the remake because I wanted to keep the memory of them going into the sun together when the show ended. Bring back Dylan and one more person watching the show!

K people dont say you arent going to watch it cause we all know you are even with out Dylan McKay, of course he would rock on the show.. but come on! you are going to watch it... and you will like it.
