Breaking: Courteney Cox Is 'Scrubs' New Chief of Medicine
With her FX series Dirt done, Courteney Cox has been freed up to play the role that Scrubs E.P. Bill Lawrence has been trying to cast for months. When the show debuts on ABC, Cox will fill Kelso's Chief of Medicine shoes for the first three episodes. I'm hearing Courteney's character won't be well-liked by the Sacred Heart staff, though the Scrubs staff is thrilled to have her on board. She will report to set and begin shooting Friday.

it is. i know, tear. i grew to adore its ridiculousness too.
Just like Amy from TV Gal talks only about Lost in her columns, I have to admit that I wish Korbi would stop talking about Scrubs so often. I swear to you guys, she had 3 posts in a row talking about that show. And here we go again.

I disagree David. Her three posts in a row was understandable, since she was spending the whole week in the Bahamas with cast. She has had plenty of other posts about other shows. If she happens to get back to back breaking scoops about the same show, then you should expect to see back to back posts.
She was in the Bahamas with the cast for a week DAVE. That's why she wrote about Scrubs a few times and this is breaking news. Why are people so whiny? If you scroll down and look at the categories you will see that Korbi writes about practically EVERYTHING ON TV.
Simmer Down David. She had talked about in other post about the casting of this role. So here is the news.
I think Cox will do well in this role.

The casting coup is a good one BUT what happened to the awesome possiblity of John Cusack guest starring with his friend and neighbour John C. McGinley?!
