Gossip Guy Gets New Girl
Well, "girl" is a relative term. I guess I should say that when Gossip Girl returns this Fall, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford, pictured left) will be seriously involved with a woman -- a married woman in her late 30s. Despite the fact that last month's season finale had us expecting a Nate-Serena pairing, sources say Serena will spend the Summer trying to accept her break 
up with Dan (Dan, on the other hand, will be seen, uh, "enjoying his freedom" in episode one), while Nate gets involved in a Mrs. Robinson sort-of fling. Any ideas on who should be cast in the role of Mrs. R? Melinda Clarke (pictured, right) is the first name that springs to my mind, as she's got experience in the mature lady-underage dude department. Also, there's the whole O.C.-Josh Schwartz connection. Any thoughts?

Jeri Ryan would also be good,even though she's forty...and she also has the O.C. connection.
And since Shark was cancelled she should be available.
Okay...I take back the Jeri Ryan comment. How about Charisma Carpenter. She's gorgeous and shes done the Mrs. Robinson role before on Veronica Mars.

Imagine how her fan base would rock this show big-time. And she's so adorable. The fact that she's not a TV regular somewhere shows how stupid Hollywood is...this girl is a major talent with devoted and loyal "Felicity" followers everywhere she appears.
Keri Russell would be good but she's in her early 30s and looks in her mid-20s.
Vanessa Marcil...She's awesome and underused..not to mention gorgeous..they did cancel Las Vegas right? I watched Las Vegas in the beginning just for her. Hope a casting director somewhere reads this.
And Vanessa is 40 but looks 30..even better
Yah, Keri Russell's a bit too young. How about one of the Melrose Place girls: Sydney!!
How about Alyssa Milano or Tiffani Thiessen?
BTW I also like Charisma Carpenter for the role.
Sanaa Lathan or Rosa Blasi would both be good and add some ethinicity. And it doesn't hurt that their nice to look at.
You can't go wrong with Alyssa Milano, or Vanessa Marcil.
