'Moonlight' Fans Howl In Support of Their Show
With fan favorites like Men In Trees and October Road officially getting their walking papers today, passionate Moonlight viewers have been inspired, making a last ditch effort to insure their favorite vampire drama stays on the air.
Since CBS will announce their final decisions on the Fall schedule in less than 24 hours, Moonlight enthusiasts are mobilizing, disseminating the email addresses and phone numbers of various CBS contacts via sites such as Moonlight-United.com. Organizers are encouraging callers and emailers to to be polite and respectful, use proper grammar and remain positive.
It was a just a year ago this time that CBS cancelled fans' beloved Jericho, only to bring it back after viewers launched a massive campaign in support of the show. Had Jericho's rise from the dead produced better ratings this year, network execs might be more inclined to hear Moonlighters' howl. However, it never hurts to try...
If you'd like to lend your support to Moonlight's cause, now is the time.
UPDATE 12:35 PM: Seems CBS execs have informed Moonlight's cast and crew that they're officially out of a job. Do I smell a repeat of the Jericho campaign coming on? Truckloads of smelly garlic this time around. That should do it.

Staked! No more Moonlight. :(
Yup, it's gone. What a mistake CBS has made. It was a great show and deserved a second season.
Thanks for the link to Moonlight-United.com, Korbi. You rock! NOW can we send REAL garlic to CBS?
I truly hope that CBS will not have this become official on Wednesday. Until then I am going to call, email, and call some more! This is the only show that I want to (and have to) watch, and it is going to be horrible if it is canceled. Please call, call, call! Leave a message on their Audience Services line, 818-655-1797.
