You can probably tell from my column that I like to talk. I pretty much always have something to say. I'm not kidding. You could call me right now and we would never have a break in our conversation. And that's even if you don't say anything at all. But the first two episodes of the fourth season of Lost left me speechless. They were so good and gave me so much to think about that after I watched them I sat quietly on my couch taking it all in.

Seeing as we jumped four years in the future this season, flashbacks are a great way to show the audience what happened during those missing years. One question, though: do they have to be so darn boring?

Tonight on Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, we got a hefty dose of Janice/Peter conflict, a hefty dose of Desireé being too big for her britches, and a hefty dose of JP being kind of a jerk.

It's been a long time since we had a new episode of House, but I for one am glad to see the show back. Sadly for you, Daniel Fienberg is not back, as he is busy writing away about American Idol.

We're back to the victimization rag on The Biggest Loser. From the very start of the episode to the very end, someone, somewhere, is moaning about how other people are picking on them, or aren't picking them at all, or are otherwise being mean to them! Sigh.

Somehow I can't shake the feeling that the best moment from Tuesday (Jan. 29) night's American Idol auditions from Omaha came when one contestant, having made it through to Hollywood despite a "No" vote from Simon, stared into the camera and declared, "I can't wait to prove Simon wrong, that I am America's Next Top Model."

The upcoming season of Lost is going to be a marathon, not a sprint, for yours truly. After yesterday's analysis, I felt winded.

With the Presidential speechifying over tonight it was time for American Gladiators (unless you live in a different part of the country than I and saw Gladiators first).

They say war is hell. So was one of the numbers on tonight's Dance War. The humanity...oh, the humanity. But on the bright side, thanks to the hour-long format there was hardly any filler. Huzzah!
