November 2007
Something this obvious probably doesn't need to be said, but superheroes make the best party guests. Batman -- elegant and charming. Aquaman -- a witty conversationalist. Wonder Woman has a lovely singing voice. But none of them can hold a candle to Superman from Smallville, airing Thursdays on The CW. Young and attractive, Superman can keep the beer chilly with his cold breath and warm the fondue with his heat vision. If he didn't keep disappearing every time that darned Clark Kent showed up, we could probably even get him to clean up after.
The history of TV receptionists includes Carol of The Bob Newhart Show, Jennifer of WKRP in Cincinnati and Pam of The Office, but none have been more stylish than Amanda Tanen of Ugly Betty, airing Thursdays on ABC. Of course, none of them worked at Mode -- a fashion magazine with more characters than a Neil Simon play.

Zap2It reader "Shaggysteve" left quite the interesting comment yesterday in response to my entry, which posited that the majority of Ben's actions can be explained if they are all done for the love of his life, Annie.

Heather, who stood out because of her awkward beauty and difficulties adjusting because of her Asperger's disorder, was eliminated on Wednesday's episode of America's Next Top Model after she failed specatularly at the go-see challenge. In an interview, Heather proves that she really is the humble and optimistic person that made her a fan favorite.

Well, it was a familiarfaceapoolza on Private Practice. Michelle recognized Tom Irwin as the priest. He's Father John on Saving Grace and was Joe Sorelli on Related. But most importantly we all remember him as the dad on My So Called Life. Rob pointed out that the love affair between Private Practice/Grey's Anatomy (or Shondaland as Rob dubbed it) and Gilmore Girls continues. Remember Edward Hermann was the older intern on Grey's. David Sutcliffe, Christopher on Girls, will return next week as a potential love interest for Addison. And finally Pablo was the first to recognize Keiko Agena, Lane, as one of the nuns.

That sound you hear is November sweeps coming to a close. Today is the last day of November sweeps.

So let's take yesterday's theory a bit further. Let's make a few assumptions, shall we?
