Janet_makeover Janet was America's Next Top Model 's Southern belle aesthetician who couldn't make her poses beautiful enough as a high-fashion gargoyle and was eliminated Wednesday (Oct. 17). As the mother hen of the household, she got along well with the girls, but has some very blunt opinions about who she doesn't think is worthy of the title.

The Bainbridge, Georgia girl took a few minutes from her busy schedule to share her thoughts on the reality show.

What were the hardest photo shoots?
J: In the first shoot [anti-smoking] I was totally baffled about looking not in the camera and not in the mirror. I had a hard time figuring out where I had to look with the emotion ...  And with the rock climbing, I was nervous about that one

How do you think you did in the gargoyle shoot?
J: It went a lot better than Tyra makes it seem. Mr. Jay gave me props for stepping out of my shell. He was really pleased with all of my pictures. I wasn't scared of heights ... but I'm just an amateur in this indsutry, and it was hard trying to play the part when I have no knowledge of that ... I had a really good feeling about this shoot and was happy about it. I thought I was going to [stay]. It's a matter of reality television as far as what is best for telelvision and for viewers.

Janet_hydrangea What was your favorite shoot?
J: I think the hydrangea. It touched home for me. My grandmother had them in her yard. It was the flower that described me the best, as Southern belle. Even though I was basially nude.

Do you plan on pursuing modeling?
J: Sure I would love to pursue it. I've got a good book now from world-renowned photographers. And I have a talent agent as well, so maybe do some acting. Keep your eyes peeled. I'll be there. Being eliminated from Top Model does not mean it's the end. My friend Molly Sue ... is with Elite New York and just got back from Milan. She was Cycle 6. It's all about what you want to do with it, how much drive you have.

What did you learn about yourself from your experience?
J: I learned I had more motherly instincts than I thought. I was always bitching about [cleaning up]. I taught one girl use a tampon and one girl how to sponge a toilet with my vast knowledge. I also learned how I really look. You don't know how you're perceived. I found out who I was a little bit more.

Janet_rock How have your learned to pose with this new knowledge?
J: It's easier to show. You'll have to turn your hips up and out. It's trial and error, really. You sit in front of a mirror and figure it out. It's a lot harder than it seems.

Did you think your personality was shown off well?
J: Yes and no. I think on the last episode, people got to know more about me than in any [episode] before that ... What was difficult was the timing. My boyfriend was deployed to the Middle East and he came back when I went [on the show]. I was torn. My heart was broken. I found myself being a lot more quiet and thinking about the future. I was sad and a bit distracted and homesick.

Did you bond with anyone in the house?
J: At first I felt like I was older. I had a boyfriend, and he has a son who's 10-years-old. I didn't feel like I connected with the girls until the very end. Saleisha was my workout partner while I was there. We made obstacle courses and ran stairs. And then Lisa and I bonded after doing the Seventeen shoot. I still keep in touch with them. I made some good friends after the whole ordeal. I love Lisa and Saleisha a lot. They're real girls. I hoep they reach their goals.

Janet_gargoyle Were you surprised that Ambreal was there in the Bottom Two with you?
J: I think Ambreal's picture wasn't that great that week, but I didn't think Sarah's was that good either. She was in the bottom with us. Bianca's had improved , but it wasn't up to par with everybody else's up there. She's nothing but nostrils to me. You can see up to her brain, but that's just me. She was called up second. She's the bitch of the group, and that serves up some drama in the house. I think she'd be good for runway and some things like that.

What's your opinion about Janet and her assessment of her experience and Bianca?

Janet took a good picture and like her friend Molly Sue from Cycle 6, she left too soon. I agree with her that Ambriel and Sarah took the weakest photos and that Bianca is a ***** with a capital B. She'll get her just desserts in due time. Good luck Janet!

I liked Janet, and was sad to see her go. But I love Molli Sue, and she was also kicked off way too early. Clearly, you are in good company, Janet!

yeah ..i love Janet too ..

hope she'll go really far in modeling soon ... Good Luck Janet !!

Janet is an all out hottie. great body and looks amazing in her pics. i do not think she should have been let go, there were a few other really weak photos in the group. she will move on to much better things in the future......
