Finalfour_rockstarsupernovaWe're down to the final four Rock Star: Supernova, so we get right to it at the top of the show with ... Ryan Star?

Yeah, the guy who was denied the chance to rock out with Supernova for the next 20 years gets one more moment on stage thanks to fan voting for one last encore. He tears through his original "Back of Your Car," gets a Honda because the fans love him so and promptly leaves the stage. At least it was quick.

Onto the real competition then:

Toby starts with Radiohead's "Karma Police." Smart choice to slow it down, but the aviator shades, and particularly the stare-into-camera-while-you-whip-them-off thing, comes across super-cheesy on TV.

Magni joins him "Throw It Away." We're hearing this for the third time, and it's just about a third as interesting as the first time. I'm not liking the producers' decision to have the finalists re-perform their originals from last week. Shouldn't this be a time for them to show off one final, kick-ass new performance, instead of rehashing an old one?

Also, "Evs" is getting really old.

After the break, we cut to a shot of Paula Abdul in the audience. Wha?

Lukas covers Coldplay's "Fix You," a song I absolutely cannot stand. That said, I think I like his version better than the original. The little hobbit really can command a stage.

He's also really smart move to do an acoustic version of "Headspin" after performing the amped-up version twice last week. I think it might actually be more effective; the emotion feels more authentic. This time.

Dave Navarro: "It's nice to see that when Paula Abdul wants to hear great singing, she comes to 'Rock Star: Supernova.' Ooh, Miss Paula has some 'splaining to do to the folks at FOX.

Dilana does "Roxanne," and her voice sounds really good. But I keep waiting for her to rock it out, and it never comes. Love the guys singing backup, though.

Before launching into "Supersoul," she explains that, This song is not a rebel song, this song is ... Oh, wait. Wrong one. It's about freedom, she says. But it still sounds exactly like it did last week, and it didn't do a lot for me then either.

Magni hits cleanup, starting with Deep Purple's "Hush." Taking nothing away from his performance, which is once again rock-solid, the song choice points to why Magni just doesn't really do it for me. It's a really safe song that you might hear any bar band do.

His original, "When the Time Comes," is much more energetic than his cover, and I think an improvement on his performance from last week. Tommy doesn't agree with me, laying the groundwork for what feels like his inevitable elimination at some point tomorrow night.

If we're going just on tonight's performances, I would have to give the, uh, honor of fronting Supernova to Lukas. It'll probably come down to him and safer choice Toby, with Dilana, who seems to have righted herself, having an outside chance and Magni getting hearty thanks and a ticket home to Iceland.

Dilana is the real thing. Sometimes I think she's constrained by the songs the show allows her to choose from. With the band there would be more freedom to caft the songs suit her vocal style. She's a woman who really rocks and having her front the band would sperate them from alot of the other look-a-like, sound-a-like bands out there.

Just because Supernova has obviously made their choice already is no reason to bash Magni's original song. As fellow musicians they have no right to insult his songwriting. Magni's a professional musician, that's how he supports himself & his family and he'll go back to his band and make some killer music - unlike Supernova.

I liked Dilana a lot at the beginning, but ever since the press incident she has been driving me crazy. She just keeps bringing it up, and using it as an excuse for her faultering. Everyone else has faultered at some point, but let it go and came back strong the next week. I just dont see Dilana fronting the band, and Magni already has an established music career in Iceland, so I hope it comes down to Toby and Lukas, with Lukas taking it home!

I can not stand anything that Lukas says or does or sings. his voice os absolutely terrible, and he deserved to go home the first nite. yes he commands, but how will a commanding stage prescence sound on the radio? thats tight, itll fall flat. dilana should win this no questions asked. of course lukas will win, which is why i shall not buy supernovas cd

I love Dilana. Some fans are so ficlke. She messed up and is being crucified for it. Dilan can sing and do anything. I hope she wins. I think it will coem down to Lukas getting a thank you and leaving for Toronto and the final 3 being Dilana, Toby and Magni in that order. Lukas reminds me of a rooster when he moves his moves are the same for each song and his voice is the same for each song he needs to nto win this competition. Plus he is the only one who is always looking on the others like he is better than them. Ok after that I think Magni will be sent back to iceland 9which is ok because he is alrady an established muscian there) and I would buy his CD. It will coem down to Dilana vs Toby. I thnki that she could win it all. But the Aussie has power so could he. I feel like she deserves it though. Can not wait until tonight!

Lukas looks like a troll so I can't believe a band would hire him for everyone to stare at.He's so repulsive looking. He is also so full of himself.Dilana or Toby should win.

Toby has the charisma to go all the way, plus it will put a lot more females in the audience for the other three guys to look at. Dilana keeps making excuses, Lukas would do well as a soloist because I don't think he could get along with the guys for any length of time, and Magni would spend too much time thinking about home and his family, so Toby should be the one

I think Dilana looks like she's performing at a Halloween concert. She can sing, but I can't stand looking at her.

I agree that Dilana looks horrid with all that crazy hair. But she sure can sing. Will the guys pick her for the job? No I don't think so. She's too nuts! I think it's between Lukas and Toby. It's a touch call but I think Lukas will take it home!

Magni just seems to be afraid of the crowd. He keeps his distance and doesn't include him in his music. It'll be his downfall. Dilana has a super voice, but I think the likes of Tommy, Gilby, and Jason are such powerhouses of rock that they'll drown her out. Lukas makes me want to puke. He doesn't fit the band at all. 3 legends and this ****y make-up-wearing punk thinks he's better than them, and better than everybody else. Toby is the logical choice. Down side is, this is a project for the band. We're lucky if they release two albums before moving on to another project. It'll be a short lives gig for whoever wins. Ryan and Storm on the other hands, have long solo careers ahead of them. The show was the best exposure they every could have had.
