VIDEO: Slurs abound in the 'Big Brother' house
I'm surprised it took the "Big Brother 11" houseguests this long to get to the homophobic and racial slurs.
First there was the big Russell and Jeff fight, which we previously talked about. Jeff does not hesitate to call Russell and Jesse, who had been working out together, the F word, which is a slur for gay men. That's lovely and very sensitive towards your gay housemate. Video of the fight is below.
And apparently it's Kevin's week to take it on the chin because not only does one of his roomies like the F word, but when Braden confronted Lydia about replacing her on the block (sore loser), Kevin tried to defend her and got called a "beaner." Braden told him, "Go back to Mexico, you beaner."
Lovely. Not only is Braden racist, but he is stupid. Kevin is African-American and Japanese, so "beaner" is not really the appropriate slur in this case. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Braden.

Small Screen Scoop -- Andrea's other stomping ground

Somebody notify me when Jessie is gone, otherwise I am not wasting time on this season.
It's funny how you hate Jessie Sara, but your ok with racist Braden. Say what you want about Jesse.... atleast the guy has never said anything racist or put down anyone gay. He can gladly stay over Braden.
Jesse says racist things all the time. Not as overtly as Braden, but he does.
I don't think that Sara indicated that she was "ok with racist Braden." She merely indicated that she loathed Jesse. I don't see any reason to read between the lines being that there was only one line to begin with.
Who will be voted off this Sunday
Any way I look at this, these have to be the most unlikeable cast members ever
I find it funny how many people (not on this forum but on others..BuddyTV i.e.) are going out of their way to defend that which has no defense. Braden could have fired ANY shot at Kevin...he could have attacked his integrity, his personality, his behavior but he CHOSE to demean, belittle and dehumanize an entire culture (one that Kevin isn't even a part of seeing that he's Japanese and African-American). There's no excuse for it, its not ok, and i hope having to deal with the fall out (much like Yvette from Season 6 did in regards to her racist attacks on Kaysar) have some sort of impact on him. Sadly, I doubt they will as the type of person that chooses to use racial slurs seldom understands why its low cl***, indecent and inexcusable to do so.
