SPOILER: 'Big Brother' Power of Veto ceremony over
The first Power of Veto ceremony of "Big Brother 11" is finished. Results after the jump.
As expected, Russell used the Power of Veto on Lydia and Jesse nominated Braden in her place. I've never quite understood why the POV ceremony takes place so far in advance of eviction night, but there you go.
It's hard to get a handle on which way the votes will go. The Jocks seem to think Chima is safe and Braden is on his way out. Ronnie, for a brain and self-proclaimed huge "Big Brother" fan, is playing quite possibly the stupidest game (save for maybe Brian from last season). Ronnie is flittering around like a gnat, going from group to group and talking out of both sides of his mouth. And that's a fine strategy, but he sucks at it. He's not a good liar, he gets all nervous and fidgety and I think it's only a matter of time before everyone sees what's really going on.
Natalie and Jesse are quickly alientating themselves from everyone else in the house. Natalie is acting a little too big for her britches and Jesse is just annoying all around. I think if another Jock doesn't win HOH this week, one of them is surely on their way out next week.

I hope Russell and Jessie stay in the game long enough to get a SHOWmance going. LOL Two Egos like theirs! Good god, can't wait until they get tired of each other's arrogance.
THANK YOU Zap2it for having the spoiler tag headlines on your opening page! I love it and that you are giving us the info as it comes out! I still like to go read through the feed recaps on the forums when I have time but , especially here at the beginning where there are so many people and we are still figuring out who is who and what is what, it is nice to be able to click once and get the info! Bravo and please don't stop!
I hope that Teacherboy was being sarcastic, because I think it's a real A-Hole move to include the spoiler in your headline when some of us are trying to stay away from that stuff to keep the show more interesting.
Don't know what the big deal is -- teacherboy is right and "not please" (not pleased?) is goofy. There wasn't anything IMPORTANT revealed in the headline -- just that the Veto was used -- not a big spoiler. That was saved for the story! Bravo!
I hope this keeps up -- because I like knowing
I am NOT being sarcastic.
Poo-poo to "not please" (whatever that means)
They have it so early for two reasons. One - so they can edit it and get it all ready for Tuesday's show (when it will be shown) and two - so the nominated HGs have a chance to campaign for themselves. Although later in the season they sometimes do the POV ceremony on Mondays and a reward competition on Sunday. Unless the have a live vote Thursday they will all vote on Wednesday.
Way to put the spoiler in the HEADLINE Zap2it! Unbelievably stupid! Please fire the person who thought giving away major spoilers in the headline was a good idea.
Nice job Zap2it, you've just been taken off my favorites list. I'll see you after Big Brother is over this season.
It really stinks that Zap2it says "SPOILER ALERT" and then also puts the spoiler in the article link. I had no option to not see the spoiler. I regularly go to Zap2it but if it continues to put it's spoilers front and center with no option to avoid, then I may have to stop visiting.
Was NOT being sarcastic...I do like it. And the tag line reveals nothing but what happened....no names or such and I mean it:Please Zap keep showing them this way!
The tag line reveals nothing, but what happened. Do you even know what the word "reveal" means? And anyway, you admit that Zap2it is revealing "nothing but WHAT HAPPENED!!!" Your words, not mine. I know you're not as stupid as you just came off.
