Another season of our favorite guilty pleasure show has come and gone, my friends. I thoroughly enjoyed bringing you the latest and great Big Brother news. Here are some parting thoughts...

This season ranks up there for me with seasons 2 and 3. It got back to basics, it had interesting houseguests and I enjoyed the alliance that made it to the end.  Even if you didn't love this season, you have to admit that it sure beat the heck out of the last two editions of Big Brother.

I never thought I could hate a 75 year-old man so much. But I also never thought a 75 year-old man would be so vulgar and disgusting on the live feeds.

I hope there is another season of All-Stars. Not only because I'd like to see more former houseguests but because I'd love to see Dan, Memphis or Brian back from this season. Yes, I know Brian is not an All-Star. But he was incredibly entertaining to watch for the first two weeks and I'd love to see him get another crack at it.

There is possibly going to be a winter edition. Alison Grodner has denied it, but they are currently casting over on CBS and there is no way they'd cast THIS early for a show that premieres in July 2009. So hurry and make your tape and maybe you can be a part of Big Brother 11!

Yeah, I downloaded the Big Brother application and it says on there that there is no definite deadline as of yet but they are accepting the applications now.

I love Big Brother and hope it continues to be a success, but I truly doubt CBS would slot in this show during their primetime slots of the winter over their current shows. Thats 3 slots during primetime hours at that. The summer is the only available time for multiple slotted shows. Its when all the regular shows are on vacation so to speak.

I also enjoyed this season--but I totally disagree with your comments about Jerry. (and I'm both an avid feed-watcher and BBAD watcher). Jerry spoke no worse than anybody else in the house. I went back to youtube to find out the nasty comments--and they simply aren't there--he did say terrible things--but other HGs (granted not all) spoke just as badly. I hated the way HGs such as Memphis treated Jerry like dirt--and it was a shame the way he was ostracized. I also can not stand Brian's vicious comments about most of the HGs in his interviews ever since he was justifiably booted. I hope to God I never have to see him on TV again!

Shocking, yet another woman crying about Jerry. I find it pretty amusing that if a man doesn't go on the show and kiss the women's asses then he is singled out. I think you need to pack your bags and move back into reality land. Older men and women aren't always like your sweet ol' grandma and grandpa. The fact that you were surprised by his behavior shows nothing more than how unrealistic your viewpoints are on this world. Get out a little more, life isn't always how the Hallmark or Lifetime channel make it out to be. Everytime I read these ridiculous comments about Jerry I picture the women's group in Jerry Maguire sitting around yapping just looking for things to complain about.

Had to also point out that I agree with BBwatcher. Almost everyone in the house said things just as vulgar as Jerry, yet he is the one this "author" singled out. This is exactly why I said it's about nothing more than the fact that Jerry didn't kiss the women's asses like the rest of the guys in the house. It's for that reason and that reason alone so many women had a problem with Jerry. And it's proven by the fact that they are complaining about the things he said while intentionally ignoring what others said. I had the feeds and I also watched BBAD, and I saw plenty of things that were comparable to what Jerry said. Come on back to reality folks, we still have room.

Does eveldick ring a bell, how about joshua and dustin, lets not forget good ole Ollie and his live feed comment about what he told memphis to do with his genital arts which by the way was edited out by Big Brother. When you look back on the previous seasons you will see that Jerry was very tame vompared to them. This show is a popularity contest with blog boards but the fact is if you want to win this game you have to take every little comment and make it surreal. Its called moving the target away from you and sticking it to somebody else. If you can master that art you then stand a chance of finishing very high. The only thing Jerry is guilty of is not knowing how to defend himself by moving the target off his back.

OK. Jerry called Keesha a toothless c--t. Please tell me what Memphis or Dan or anyone else said that was that offensive. Or his constant reference to Dan as Judas. No, not vulgar, but pretty offensive. Even the other houseguests were shocked and put off by that. And Jerry kissed plenty of female ass when he needed to. Just because some of us didn't like Jerry's behavior doesn't mean that we expected Grandpa-in-the-rocking-chair. There's plenty of room between those two extremes, and most of us don't expect the world to be that black-and-white.

And a P.S. to my previous comment: There were others, Ollie and Michelle in particular, who made nasty comments, but for the most part they were in the heat of anger. Not an excuse, but a reason. Most of Jerry's comments were made during casual, everyday conversation, which is the biggest reason I found him so offensive.

Real America doesn't get on the show. Only struggling models, actors and industry people are chosen. Every year they cast someone just a week before pre-show (Keesha,Jen,) sequester. 1/2 of any year is ready. They waited to cast a lot of these people for a different season. You hear every season it's the 3rd or more time they tried out but were cut at finals, then making it on the next season.Adam waited 4-5 seasons Dick also tried out many times. Can't have Matty and Jessie on the same season they are the same "type" they Kasst every year, SHEEP!

I totally agree with Beth here. Jerry was vile for the sake of being vile, there was no "in the heat of the moment" pretext. I admit that when I first saw him, I was expecting someone who would rise above all of the house drama and use his wisdom to play the game. Maybe the fact that this was a horribly wrong first impression is what makes me dislike him more, but Andrea has been more than fair about all of the house-guests.

This is one of the great things about this show. Every year there is a house-guest that you either love or hate and it doesn't always go down the line of "show or feeds". I think Jerry is the perfect example of this.
