FinaleWatch: 'Big Brother 10'

Juliechen Big Brother 10 wrapped up one of its most entertaining seasons in quite a while in grand fashion tonight, proving that no matter what you do throughout the season, in the end good game play really is the best way to take home the $500,000 prize.

Julie starts the hour in style, welcoming us to the live finale dressed to kill in a gorgeous black cocktail dress. She still has the crazy news anchor hair but still, baby steps. Before the live show begins, they kill a good five minutes recapping the events from the entire season that have led us up to the finale. This extra-long recap is a virtual love affair to Memphis and Dan's Renegades (and to a lesser extent the foursome when Renny and Keesha were involved), as it should be considering they controlled the house from the week before the jury began. Seeing it all edited together really makes you realize just how good of a game Memphis and Dan played, and as a bonus it's always fun to see Michelle's "leotard" freak out again. But enough reminiscing, let's find out who won this darn thing!

Once the interminable recap is over, we switch from the live audience to the jury house just in time to see Jerry's arrival and the jury's subsequent realization that the Renegades played them all. Keesha talks about wanting to see Memphis walk through the door but Ollie wants to see Dan (and is obsessed with Dan "mocking" them somehow), but the best part is when Jerry walks in and literally NO ONE is happy to see him. This is probably 50% because Jerry sucks and 50% because they really don't want to see Dan or Memphis win. Strangely, everyone immediately turns on Jerry and begins to blame him for the Renegades survival in the game, but it seems most likely they're really angry at themselves for being played so thoroughly.

As they discuss the two remaining players, Keesha points out that unlike Memphis Dan made himself likable, which was smart game play.  April and Ollie go off again about Dan "mocking" Ollie and Michelle somehow (is it "mocking" people to go back on your word, or are they using a different dictionary?) and everything escalates until Libra points out that this is a GAME and they should be rewarding GAME PLAY, not writing a slam book. Thank you, Libra! This shifts the conversation to actual game play, and everyone agrees that despite Dan's faults he had some great overt game play. Memphis' game play is pointed out as being more under the radar by letting others do his dirty work, which some jury members like but others find reprehensible. In the end, it's difficult to tell where people's votes will lie but none of them have convinced me their votes will be for anything but personal reasons. What can I say, I'm cynical.

I'm just glad that beyotch April didn't win!! What a petty little ankle biter she is.

So glad Dan won. He deserved to win; he was, hands down, the best player this season. Also glad that Keesha won the jury prize as voted by America (and Canada).
And a big thank you to Libra, for making the season interesting but also for keeping people focussed on this being a game, in the jury house and when she was voted off.

I must say I enjoyed the outcome this season. Dan won fair and square. He played the game and did it very well..He was very clever, move over Dr. Will. My favorite two players in BB history so far. But I must say if it wasn't for BB2 it wouldn't be a BB10...HOLLA!!!

He was clever, move over Dr. Will we have a new sheriff in town. Am happy for Memephis and Keesha also. Finally BB got it right. Hasn't been right since BB2..It's AWNNNNNNNN

Will someone please delete Anne's post. There is absolutely no reason for that here. Thank you.

I agree with Dan Fan. Anne's post is disgusting. Can't we have a little oversight here?

I think this has to be one of the most clear cut win out of all reality shows ever.

he worked for it and he well damn deserved it.

I was surprised with Ollie and April's votes but I'm glad they put aside their personal feelings and understood this is just a game.

IS THERE ANYBODY ELSE NOT NAME MEMPHIS BLUE THE JURY INTERROGATION AS MUCH as memphis did.

lolz
