'Big Brother' POV Ceremony Complete (SPOILERS)

By Andrea Reiher

August 25, 02:07 PM

Michelle Oh my lord, readers. The crap has hit the proverbial fan in the Big Brother house. The Power of Veto Ceremony took place a short while ago and the house is in complete upheaval. Also, I heart Dan. He really stepped up and actually did something this week.

Well, as predicted, Memphis used the POV on himself. That's obviously fine. But Dan's replacement nominee is Michelle. Man, I cannot wait to see this ceremony on the actual show! Michelle and Ollie's reactions must have been effing priceless.

After the ceremony is over and the feeds come back up, Michelle and Ollie are going nucking futs. Ollie tells Dan he feels disrespected and that he challenged his manhood on national TV. I think the disrespect came when you started screwing April all over the house, Ollie. But maybe that's just me. He then accuses Dan of his girlfriend Monica not even being real since he swore on her and all that. Basically, Ollie is just like every other sore loser who gets played on shows like this. Dan played him. He made him feel safe and then flipped on him and it's AWESOME and it's why we watch shows like this and Ollie needs to suck it up and not be such a baby about it.

Michelle has more grounds to be upset because she's really just a pawn. I would've liked to see Dan put up Ollie as the replacement nominee, but it is Michelle instead. She has completely lost her mind, screaming profanities at the camera and telling them to get out of her face. Ollie is also delightfully using the f-homosexual word at Memphis again, which is disgusting. These two are a pair.

At one point, Ollie threatens either Dan or Memphis (it isn't clear) and then the feeds go down for a minute and then Ollie is laying on the couch wearing sunglasses. Think he threatened physical violence and got smacked down by Big Brother? Me too.

I guess I don't see why you think it is great that Dan went back on his word. How do you think Ollie and Michelle should act? I think this just proves that Dan has no game at all. He obvisously is afraid of Memphis so he probably is doing whatever memphis is telling him to do.

Yeah, Dan's so afraid of Memphis that he put him on the block. Dan has been orchestrating this whole thing. I'm not sure what show you've been watching.

Going back on your "word" is part of a game like this. This isn't the Let's Make the Most Friends House or Let's Be the Most Honest House.

It's a game and when you get played, don't lose your freaking mind.

db- there's a 4 person alliance and dan had every intention from the get go of taking Mamphis off the block and back door-ing Michelle. So thankfully we won't have to hear that voice or see her talk with food in her mouth anymore...

Mickey | Aug 25, 2008 3:27:39 PM | #

I guess Dan put Michelle up instead of Ollie because she is the strongest player of the two. If you make the decision to break your "word", you want to do it for the maximum effect. It's doubtful that putting up Ollie wouldn't have produced a similar reaction from Michelle so why not get the better competitor out of there?

I hope the editors of the show really hoodwink this replacement nominee on Tuesday's show. They have been getting better at that over the past few seasons (especially the Ryan and Mattie vs. James and Chelsia nomination last season) and I think it will be all the more fun to be in on it.

Ollie is such an idiot...he really thought Dan was going to keep his "word"...ha ha. I can only hope that the voting houseguests vote out Michelle instead of Jerry. Jerry is waaaaay less of a threat than Michelle. Jerry is this season's "Sheila", keep him around till the Final 3 so you can ensure your place in the Final 2. I am so excited that a player I like might win this season, this has not been the case since season 5 when Drew won. Season 1 Eddie :)... Season 2 Will :(
Season 3 Lisa :)...Season 4 Jun :)... Season 5 Drew :)...
Season 6 Maggie :(.... Season 7 Mike :( Season 8 Dick :(...
Season 9 :(.... Season 10 Keesha, Dan, Memphis :))))

Dan didn't go back on his word.He didn't put Michelle up the 1st time. He didn't promise a second time around would be free. Do you remember when April promised Mihelle that she wouldn't put up Jesse, and then she did??? As for Ollie he {Dan} promised no to put him up, but does that mean for always? Don't think so. As far as I am concerend Dan has kept his word. Love the show.

Go Dan!!!! His gameplay is exceptional. He has been my favorite since the beginning and now he's really getting a chance to shine. So glad Michelle might be going home. Can't stand her. low class, foul language, yeah, she's a peach.....not!!! Dan all the way!!!!!

I remember Michelle chatting up someone (April?) vis a vis game strategy with when she was HOH in the wake of Jessie's eviction. She advised the listener that you have to. "..lie, cheat steal", basicaly whatever you have to do to get the results you want in this game. Cracks me up to see her and Ollie losing it over Dan following her lead.
Payback's a what, Michelle?

Daniel E | Aug 25, 2008 5:40:08 PM | #

Willie- Dan did promise, though, that Ollie would get to pick the replacement nominee if the veto was used. So did he lie? Yes. Do I care? HELL NO!!!

Blue Sean | Aug 25, 2008 6:57:26 PM | #

I think it ironic that Ollie is victim/annoyed by the EXACT ploy his girlfriend used a few weeks ago. April promised Michelle that herself and Jesse were safe from nominations AND veto replacement, then backdoored Jesse breaking her promise to Michelle that they would both be safe.
I would have loved to see Ollie go instead but let karma take care of him...and it will, eventually.

I hope Dan wins it all. He's the only one who hasn't gone around using #@#@# language all the time. He's played it very well and very smart. How can anyone be upset, everyone has lied to someone in the game.

dan did not break his word.
3 parts of deal...
part one- would not nominate ollie or michelle and ollie could pick a nominee--he picked memphis....check.
part two- (i believe) was that if veto used, ollie wouldnt be replaced...check.
part three- ollie would get to pick replacement....

hahahahahah....ollie DID pick a replacement....but the deal didnt say that dan had to replace with that person....

we all know how dan likes to play with specific wording.

ok...so if you dont agree with my logic. he only swore on his family and monica on the first part of the deal. ollie didnt take that deal and so the rest of the add ons came later. with no mention of swearing on family.

dan is by far the smartest player. he made ollie say renny's name so he could secure renny in the plan of final four...wouldnt happen if renny and ollie had a side deal. dan figured by having ollie say renny's name, he could nip that in the butt.

everything hinges on the first of the two hoh's on thursday. if the alliance of r/k/d/m win and get ollie out..they are golden.

saney | Aug 26, 2008 1:57:35 PM | #

Here's hoping BB gives Ollie a penalty nomination and does not allow him to play for HOH during the Double Eviction process. I mean, they have to do 'something' in the wake of his meltdown, right? To have Michelle and then Ollie sent to the Jury House would just be TOOOO sweet!

Daniel E | Aug 26, 2008 4:57:16 PM | #

Enjoyed how it came out. But didn't understand the purpose of having the players name each other for nomination. Was this a matter of Dan setting up a tie vote and then breaking the tie?

Maureen | Aug 26, 2008 10:14:03 PM | #

Ollie and Michelle need to take in to account "this is just a game". I think Dan is great as HOH. He has spiced everything up to make it interesting again. I hope Dan goes to the end.

In tonight's double elimination, Dan is out of there unless Memphis or Keesha wins. The others have to know that he set up the silly "roulette" answers, so he's angered everyone else in the house.

Renny has been clear from the start that she likes Ollie and doesn't trust Memphis. I can see her putting up Dan and Memphis.
