Things come and go so quickly here! I watched the Big Brother live feeds yesterday right up until I had to leave for work and still there were no nominations. I get home and check in at 3 am and suddenly there have been nominations and the POV competition. Crazy! You know the drill. Spoilers after the jump.

Stupid Renny is targeting April. That's great. Delusional alien-looking girl who thinks the reason Keesha doesn't like her is because she (April) is prettier than Keesha needs to go. However, Stupid Renny didn't nominate April and Ollie! She nominated April and Jerry. Now, I can't stand Jerry either but if she's targeting April, she can't leave her butt-buddy off the block because he could win POV and then NEITHER of them are going home.

However, all that became a moot point when the POV competition happened. Renny, April and Jerry all participated plus Dan, Ollie and Keesha. I have no idea what the competition involved because by the time I got to the feeds they weren't really talking about the competition anymore, they were talking about the results.

DAN WON POV! Dan finally won something! I think this is so delicious because now Jerry, who was a total and complete ass to Dan last week, has to kiss up to him to see if he'll use the POV. He better not, by the way. I don't care if Ollie replaces Jerry, I don't want to see Dan give in to that old geezer. Don't use the POV, Dan!

I think that those are smart nominations (since I called it on the recap blog posting, of course I would). Regardless of who goes home, there will be a maximum of ONE person upset (Ollie if April goes). I agree that it may have been short-sighted to leave that open for the veto competition (which I am sure the editor's will play up for the show), but the end nominations are good.

I doubt Dan will use the veto on either of them. He seems to have cemented himself with that other side and has no reason to switch alliances now.

My excessive use of parenthetical statements is starting to annoy me.

Well, Renny turned out to be less savvy about BB game dynamics than I thought. Putting Jerry (who has managed to piss off almost everyone by now) up for eviction makes it entirely possible that April will be safe, free to make all kinds of trouble for any and everyone but Ollie. If Dan is even partly in touch with what's real, he'll use the POV do the unexpected and save Jerry's ass. Of course then it would be up to Renny to make a smart choice, a scenario I can no longer expect to see happen. Mega-Stupid move Renny...
