Carrieunderwood_240 Season 4 "American Idol" winner Carrie Underwood has set the release date for her third album.

The as-of-yet unnamed album will hit shelves on November 3rd, 2009, with the first single to be released sometime this summer. Underwood is collaborating once again with Mark Bright, the producer behind her first two albums Some Hearts and Carnival Ride.

Her previous albums have sold almost 10 million copies combined. Some Hearts was named the number-one selling album of 2006 in all genres by the Billboard Music Awards and Carnival Ride gave Underwood her first #1 album, as it debuted in the top spot on the Billboard charts.

Underwood was recently crowned Entertainer of the Year by the Academy of Country Music, an honor which has only been won by seven female artists since its inception in 1970.
