Simoncowell_americanidol_290 Yesterday "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell went on record saying that he wants Paula Abdul to remain on FOX's biggest show.

Cowell reassured fans that "She'll be fine. She'll be on the show. I don't get a lot of say. I've just made it clear that I want Paula on the show."

Personally, I think Simon probably has more say than he'd admit, so hopefully he'll keep the original judges panel intact.

Simon wasn't the only one weighing in. Host Ryan Seacrest twittered about Paula yesterday. I follow him (he's hilarious to follow on Twitter) and he said, "I connected with Paula Abdul today...love you. PA. Can't imagine doing Idol without you!" Seacrest also told Zap2It's Hollywood Press TV at the "Funny People" premiere, "I hope so. Believe me, I hope so. I don't want to do it without her." Video can be seen here.

Hey Andrea,

Do you have a link to where Simon said that?

Thanks.
