Syesha Mercado to take on 'Dreamgirls' role

According to TMZ, Syesha Mercado, finalist from season seven of "American Idol," is joining the national touring company of "Dreamgirls."

Sources say that she has landed the role of Deena Jones, which is the role played by Beyonce in the movie. I was a big fan of Syesha's, if this came to my area I would try to see it. Good luck, Syesha!
