'American's Idol's' Bikini Girl cannot leave well enough alone
Katrina Darrell, aka Bikini Girl, is at it again following the "American Idol" finale in which she was upstaged by judge Kara Dioguardi. I thought the stunt was funny and cool, but Bikini Girl has her own things to say on the subject. I am loathe to make this girl more famous, but this is just too good.
Radaronline has an exclusive video interview in which Katrina says, "I don't think [Kara] got the reaction she was hoping for. I think she probably thought I would cry or get mad, and I didn't -- I played it off. Looking back at the tape, she just made herself look stupid; she didn't make me look stupid."
Wrong, sweetie. Your barely-contained rage was palpable and the fact that you just stood there, with a dim-witted half-smile on your face, and then tried to outsing Kara did, in fact, make you look quite stupid. By the way, so does this interview you gave.
You know what else makes you look stupid? Bragging about your little sister's run-in with Kara backstage. "We were walking, and [Kara] said, 'Oh, sweetie, I hope you didn't take anything personally,' I rolled my eyes, and my sister said, 'Hey, next time you try to upstage my sister, get a spray tan! How old are you -- 45 or 50?' I looked back and shrugged. She kind of said what I was thinking but couldn't say!"
Darrell went on to say, when asked who looked better in a bikini, "Well, I'm not 50 years old, and I do spray tan!"
Wrong again, sweetie. Kara kicked your ass in the bikini department. And the singing department. And the brains department. Maybe you should've listened to her back at your audition when she told you "next time, just come naked."
