Simon Cowell Chooses his 'American Idol' Final Two
"American Idol" judge Simon Cowell told reporters at an industry event yesterday that he'd like to see "Adam and Danny in the final because they are the best two singers." I'm not surprised at all by the choice of Adam, but the other one mystifies me a bit. More thoughts below.
Cowell has been critical of Danny as of late, calling his performance "clumsy" this past week. Cowell has also been extremely complimentary of Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta lately. I happen to think both Kris and Allison are far superior singers to Danny Gokey. I can only hope this is Simon's clever ploy to motivate Kris and Allison's fanbases. What do you guys think?

I tend to take his comment at face value. Similar remarks he's made in the past have been straightforward. In the early stages of the competition the judges loved Danny's voice. Simon's recent criticisms have had to do with him being "lazy" and "clumsy", which has more to with the overall performance than with his actual voice.
Gokey is another Taylor Hicks.
Gokey looks like Bud Bundy.
I would like to see Allison and Adam in the final two but I'm afraid she's going to be prematurely eliminated in fifth position just like the talented Carly Smithson last season.
It should be Adam and Matt.
For me, Allison and Adam are the most talented singers.
I think it should be kris and adam, kris should win. kris's last performance was brilliant.

I think that Kris could possiblly sneak into the top 3, maybe even the finals, but no one can beat Adam. He's too entertaining, he's the best singer, and he will win. I think the only person that has a slight chance of beating him is Allison, but she will have to have more fans behind her in order to win. Danny is good, but I agree with others that he could be another Taylor Hicks. That being said however, he has had some very good moments in my mind, and he actually has a vocal, unlike taylor hicks, who just yells. the top 3 will most likely be Adam, Danny, and Allison, but again, Kris could sneak in if he keeps it up
I would like the top 3 to be Adam (winner), Allison and Kris. Danny has never impressed me. I was mesmerized by Adam beginning with his audition and he keeps it exciting each time. I had previously watched AI but my interest was waning until last year..Michael Johns and David Cook. This year I became excited about this show, Adam has made music exciting. AI had been a ballad snooze fest in the past...
