'American Idol' Schedule This Week
This week it is getting crazy in American Idol land. We're back to three nights of coverage. Tuesday night is the third group of 12. Wednesday night is the results show to give us nine of our Top 12. And THURSDAY night at 8 pm/7 pm central is the Wild Card performance round. From what I've heard, it's going to be 2 picks for each judge (of which all of the Top 36 are eligible) who perform. Also, I think the three who advance to the Top 12 will be chosen during the hour-long show because there is no other show scheduled between Thursday, March 5th and next Tuesday's first Top 12 performance night on March 10th.
What I'm curious about is: if yet another week goes by in which two men and one woman advance, will the judges have to choose 3 women from the Wild Card round in order to keep the Top 12 at 6 and 6? Or will they choose the 3 they think are the best? (Provided those 3 aren't already 3 women, of course.)

I will be really disappointed if Ricky Braddy is not chosen as a wild card. I thought he was awesome!

It sucks that Ricky Braddy will not make Top 12 even though he was the best of the first group. Simon bashing him (I mean why the hell would he say Ricky was shy, he doesn't seem like it to me) and the producers not featuring him killed his chances. There are already six men, so that only leaves room for one from the Wild Card since the fifth one will come from tonight's performances. I would be shocked if the judges pick Ricky as the lone man from the Wild Card since Simon and the producers don't seem to like him. Although this is all moot if two med advance tomorrow. Andrea, if we get two men advancing from group 3, I think the judges will have to pick three women from the Wild Card round since the show seems hell bent on having six men and six women.
I'm still confused about the Wild Card show - will the judges just pick the remaining 3? Why do a show at all then if America doesn't get to vote?
I can't understand why Megan is still on the show - and brought back by the judges! Arianna and Tatianna (though weird) were much better singers. Simon acts like he has the hots for her or something. "Quirky" is the word they used. "Strange" would be mine. Her little dance movement verges on creepy. And her voice - not that great!
